To be very blunt here . I tried to join this server for the second time today , first time being a ping test , and it nets me a warning saying im banned till 2035 . not really sure whats going on .
Maybe the admin sees you trolling the forums all day and doesn't even bother? ^_^ jk, maybe some whitelist deal they set up
lol , after pulling an allnighter putting 7 hrs into a base and being irritated after having my base raided , i almost missed the "jk" and was bout to reply xD then was like " oh he is kidding" prolly the white list thing . its the only pvp server im seeing decent ping on , hope the admin sees this lol
that aspect of pvp is a little annoying...which is why i love how we can protect certain planets and enable pvp on others, so players can safely store their stuff, etc...then jump into the action when they want ... i dunno, what do u think?
i love it despite its annoyances . all it needs is the base defenses to be more deadly . PVP gives me reason to build smartly and under the radar , worry about not wandering off to far , and hiding my resources .
not being able to see any and everybody on the map would be a nice update as well...especially on pvp servers where you want to build underground, away from prying eyes
id like to see proof please that i was tampering empyrion online in any way, not for the server but now that it is brought up , Thats a pretty big accusation . and if so , what were you doing there .
and for the record im a member of cheatengine , mpgh and a dozen more and One of the contributors of Elite lua for elite dangerous in Solo mood. also a adept scripter , modder and 3d artist This is not called cheating . Cheating is when you use unfair means to gain an advantage over the competition , where we only support single player scripting . Multiplayer grifing is not worth the ban and waste of cash , so its pretty much common sense , and a good investigation should be done before passing judgement and im still waiting for proof that i exploited empyrion online
Same here, I remember this server and being banned shortly after I landed with my escape pod. The first time I said anything in chat to give an answer to a question a new player had , I was banned a few seconds later. The only conclusion I can draw here is that the mods just troll their players. And yes, banning someone without even watching them or proof they cheat is trolling. I've been a long time member of multiple servers, and before here I had never been banned in this game ever for anything. It's really a shame, since it seems to be an interesting server, just for some reason the mods have a chip on their shoulder. I completely agree with you man, it's a terrible way to run things to ban people simply because they are members of those forums. Back when I hosted a DayZ server I was a member of a couple of them including mpgh so I could find out what tools players were using, how they were cheating, and how to better detect cheaters, and how to better protect my server. The ARMA II engine was notorious for being very easy to mess with, and you had to keep up with things. Being a member or even contributing to any of those forums does not mean you cheat in Empyrion. hell for me I just enjoy testing the game, and really wouldn't see why anyone would want to cheat here anyways and am especially perplexed why anyone just randomly ban people without even bothering to monitor them. Its not like it wouldn't be hard to figure out if someone cheats here.

Server become more and more populated. It would be nice to have slots limit increased up to 30. Perfect server performance and HIGH FPS !
