Fixed Empyrion Stuck after Splash Screen

    Type: (Global / O2Rooms / Temperature,Radiation / Player Armor,Boosters / Repair / Teleport,Portals / Instances / Triggers,Sensors / AIVessels / Gamestart / ... )

    Summary: After Splash Screen game stops starting up with a tiny unsizeable window.

    Description: After a complete system crash while playing on a server, after restart the game started showing above symptom.
    I have tried "Verify Integrity of Game Files" and removed and reinstalled the game without any success.

    Steps to Reproduce: Double click Desktop Icon or click play in Steam.

    One way you might able to fix it is to set a launch option to force full screen.
    Right click on Empyrion in your Steam library and go to properties. Click on set launch options in the general tab.
    Without quotes, type in "-fullscreen" and click ok. Try launching the game and see if it helped.
    If it didn't help then just go back in and remove the launch option.

    @krazzykid2006 Thank you for your reply, I tried that without success.

    I managed to fix it now:
    1. I completely unistalled the Game (and Server).
    2. Then I completely erased the directories: \Steam\steamapps\common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival including saves.
    3. Then I deleted the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Eleon Game Studios .
    4. And finally reinstalled the game.
