Tested on planet and orbit HudDistance only shows effect when also MapDistance is set. Ok good. But with MapDistance there are only 2 options: with "Value 0" never visible, or higher than 0 the poi is always visible in the whole playfield. For example, it is not possible to show asteroids at 2500m. And no, dear Taelyn I don't want to replace a radar but only to make it easier to find the asteroids without place all in an asteroid ring ;-)
haha Ive just talked to the Dev who handles the markers. After the release we will check it out if it can be changed. Its not that easy in space So for now known issue
