Fixed Internal Error

Whenever i try to start up a single player world it sais Internal Error Occured

i just wanted to know what is causing this error and how to fix it

Can you zip the SaveGame aswell and upload it on GoogleDrive or something?

Some things to try out

Do you have any old scenarios subscriped to the workshop or in the Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Content\Scenarios\... Folder?
If so. Unsubscribe and remove all old Scenarios pleae then try again

 

i have never used scenarios

 

Hi Babu, did this ever get resolved? I appear to have the same issue!

I keep crashing at ~86-96% of planets loading when creating a new game.

 

still having the problem

 

I am sure the Devs would appreciate it when you would also provide the same Files that @Babu Frik had been asked for

Thank you for your responses, I didn't include log or save files because they almost identical.

I have been talking to 'Dave' (the legend) at support, and his most recent instructions, which I opted not to take a shortcut on, worked . - See below. I had tried these individually before with no success, so the combination seemed to fix, @Babu Frik give it a go and let us know!

Can you please unsubscribe from any scenarios you are subscribed to on the steam workshop then try again ?

If that doesn't work please try this completely uninstall Empyrion & then reinstall after doing the following steps

1. Right click on Empyrion in your steam library > Properties > Local files > Browse local files > Saves
   Make a backup copy of any saves & blueprints you have in another folder away from steam or place them on another drive.
   Also if you have any custom scenarios, playfields or configs etc you will want to back them up & also move them away from from the root Empyrion installation folder which are all found in the "Contents" folder.
   
2. Select Empyrion in your steam library & select the uninstall option & when that is completed delete the "Empyrion - Galactic Survival" folder in your Steam\steamapps\common folder so everything is completely wiped
   
3. Delete these folders called "Eleon Game Studios" in these locations if they are found there:
   C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Local\Temp\Eleon Game Studios
   C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\LocalLow\Eleon Game Studios
4. Open windows regedit navigate to here "Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Eleon Game Studios" & right click on "Empyrion - Galactic Survival" in the list & delete it then close regedit.
   
5. Restart your PC
6. Reinstall Empyrion in your steam library select Empyrion & select install & wait for it to finish downloading. When the download is complete:
   Right click on Empyrion in your steam library > Properties > Local files > Browse local files
   & place your saves, blueprints, custom scenarios etc back."

Update: Just to note, the differences in logs where CPU, GPU (although both AMD), Username, save location, planet names, thats about it.
