    Severity: Minor/Major (system functionality)

    Type: Virtual Toolbar

Summary: Items on the virtual toolbar do not contribute to the mass of the connected container.

Description: When items are placed on the virtual toolbar, they are removed from the host container, and will flow back when the connection is closed as described in the introduction of the the Mass and Volume system. However, The mass of those items is also removed from the host container.

    Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Ensure Mass and Volume is enabled in difficulty options
    2. Build a small HV with balanced mass and a Container controller with extensions (VirtualBar_Mass_Bug BP attached)
    3. Connect to the HV inventory
    4. Add 20 Combat Steel blocks to the container
    5. Mount and power the vessel
    6. Open the storage controller via F4 or from Control panel.
    7. Pick up the blocks and place on the virtual toolbar
    8. Note the displayed mass for the container, and the behaviour of the hovering vessel while moving the block stack between the container and the virtual toolbar.
    Expected Behaviour:
    • The virtual Toolbar to act as an alias, or link to the original items contained in the host container.
    • The original count and mass to remain in, or be indicated as reserved in the host container.
    Observed Behaviour:
    • Items dragged from the container to the virtual toolbar are removed from the host container (This may be intentional, but can be misleading)
    • The UI updates the host container's volume when the items are picked up from the host container.
    • The mass of the items moved to the virtual toolbar is also removed from the host container.
    • The UI for the host container's mass is updated when the items are picked up.
    • The Hover vessel's handling is reflected by the reduced mass (The hover height can be seen to change with mass behind the container UI)
    Notes:
This could be used as an exploit where the player can carry more than they would normally be able by placing the excess items on the virtual toolbar.

MODIFIED PLAYFIELDS: Just small adjustments in config.ecf and a bit less POI's on planets.

    Reproducibility: Always
    Severity: Minor

    Type: Logistic System

Summary: No Volume / Mass calculation in Linked Toolbar

    Description:
If you link yourself to a cargobox by logistic system and you put something in the toolbar, it doesn't get calculated for Volume and Mass anymore.

This way you can store much more stuff in e.g. your SV than possible.

    Type: Containers

Summary: Exploit - Conected Hotbar mass/volume not counted against vehicle limits

Description: Materials added from a base storage to a SV by placing them directly into a connected hotbar don't count against the mass/volume limits of the vehicles container. It is possible to move materials this way outside the normal wireless range of the base far in excess of what the vehicle capacity.

Steps to Reproduce: Player connects to any cargo container in an SV within wireless range of a base. Transfer materials directly from the base storage into the connected hotbar. Move the SV to a new location. Materials will still be available in the connected hotbar as if the base were in wireless range or the materials were carried in the SV. Not tested past playfield boundaries.
