Description: LCD Projectors sometimes randomly do not show their projections while playing on a dedicated server. The LCD Projector model itself is visible, but the text does not show up. Relogging, or leaving the area for the structure to unload then coming back can sometimes fix it. Happens to both POIs and player spawned blueprints. Seems to be a client side issue, as sometimes the text will show for one player but not another. Hard to track down any known trigger or way to reliably reproduce. For example on a fresh new server my brother spawned a base in orbit with some projectors that did not show up for me despite turning the base on and off multiple times, yet he could see them. But when we returned to the area after having warped around for awhile, I could see them. This can be a minor inconvenience for player structures, but for any POI that uses projectors as part of the POIs "mission" or to explain lore/mechanics to a player this is a major issue that prevents players from being able to complete those POIs. Seems to be a rare issue, hard to trigger on purpose, and I apologize for a lack of specifics to reproduce but hopefully this can help track it down. Been happening for years but I didn't see it reported before. Unsure if it affects LCD screens. Steps to Reproduce: 1) Create a dedicated server and spawn structures or visit POIs that have LCD Projectors. 2) Check with multiple players if any of them cannot see the LCD Projector text. It's pretty easy to reproduce. Usually LCD is visible to a first person who came to render range of it. Other people don't see it.
Ah that would explain why my brother could see the projectors of the base he had spawned and I couldn't. He logged in first and already had everything spawned in, then I logged in and teleporter up to him and couldn't see the LCDs.
