Build: 3366 Mode: Survival SERVER NAME: N/A SEED-ID: 2261970 Reproducibility: Intermittant Severity: Trivial Type: COC error Summary: Many COC errors while approaching Radar Station Description: I was approaching the Radar Station in Chapter 4 with a CV when I started getting bombarded with COC errors. My only option was to close the game. When I restarted the game I was able to load the save and the errors were gone. Steps to Reproduce: Play through Chapter 4. Log file enclosed since the save loads W/O the error now.
Can you trigger it again ? It seems to be triggered by discovering a POI according to the log but I cannot trigger it myself.
I believe I figured out a way to cause the COC errors. I started a Creative game then used the destroy console command to remove the platform and SV. I then spawned a CV and started getting the COC error when I got in the cockpit and tried to fly away. I deleted the save game and tried again, it seems to be the combination of undiscovered POI's while you are in another vessel that triggers it because it did not happen while I flew around in god mode, it only happened after I spawned the CV and got into the pilots seat. I had destroyed the fortifications around the Radar Station using the console the first time this happened because I was turbo cheating through the story line. That is why I think the two COC's are related.
Tried it again using a SV and was able to replicate the issue. Started a new creative game and immediately destroyed the station, CV, & SV using the console. Zipped around in the jetpack for a bit then spawned a SV and got in. The COC's started shortly after I entered the cockpit.
A fix was done today that will address these exceptions & will be available in the next release. Thanks for the use case on the experimental branch!
Verified, no COQ after I entered the seat of a vessel after destroying the nearby POI's using the console. You do get a message that you discovered a blank POI, but no crash.
