Build: 1.8.14 3886 Mode: Survival / Creative Mode: Single Player / Multiplayer Reproducibility: Always Severity: Minor Type: Emissive Textures Summary: As of the 1.8.1x series of updates, many emissive details on devices have changed from their default rich blue to either white, a brighter teal/cyan, or a brighter green Description: I am not sure which, if any, of these changes are deliberate, but many devices such as antennas, generators, and hover pads have changed their emissive colors. I have placed several of the devices that I noticed on a CV and HV frame to demonstrate the problematic models. I may be missing some, and it is possible that I'm seeing things incorrectly on some of these models too since I can't compare to the older colors. Steps to Reproduce: Load the attached BPs in a creative session, in space, with the back facing away from the sun Power up both blueprints For the CV blueprint, add some pentaxid to the pentaxid tank to make it illuminate Observe that many of the emissive colors have changed since 1.8.8. Screenshots: CV test frame. Demonstrates: Green lights on fridges are much brighter and paler Control screen on Repair Station is brighter than normal (may also affect other consoles) Grill lines on food processor turn white when activated Pentaxid tank turns white when filled Small / T1 gen are pale white, T2 gen is cyan Sci-fi furniture sets are paler and much more emissive than they were Most lit antennas are either white or cyan now. I also recall the first antenna being more orange than yellow. Some sides of the drill and laser cannons are whiter than others HV test frame. Demonstrates: Fuel tank displays are much brighter than usual Fridge display is over-bright and faded green Constructor is overbright Ventilators are overbright and a lighter shade of blue Ground repulsors are more yellow than they used to be (I think?) Hover booster is overbright and paler Hover pads are white Laser drill has same issue as CV version Ex: The blue of the T2 gen and the blue of the grid wall used to be the same shade Ex: The blue cube block used to match the color of the antenna
