Build: 1.9.2 4019 Mode: Creative / Survival Mode: Single Player / Multi-player Reproducibility: Always Severity: Minor Type: Deco collision geometry Summary: A powered map console's hologram can infinitely block all player shots, and depending on overlapping configuration can block shots well outside the bounds of the hologram. Description: When a holographic map console is active showing a planet or terrain mesh the hologram will completely block player projectiles if hit. This does not damage the console, so it will block infinite shots. The expected behavior is that the player should shoot right through the hologram without damaging the console. The worse part is that depending on its configuration in a POI it seems that multiple map consoles will produce a much wider undamagable wall that blocks shots well outside the range of the console display. See video below for an example. Other players have also reported that NPCs can shoot through these walls, giving them an unfair and unexplainable advantage in certain POIs. Steps to Reproduce: Start a creative scenario Load the attached epb "BA Target" Turn the base power on. Attempt to shoot the back wall through the hologram. You will not damage the wall. Place a second console 2 blocks behind the first one and attempt to shoot at different parts of the wall around both consoles. Your shots will be blocked by a large invisible wall.
