For more information see here Bug Report Template Build: 1.10.2 Mode: SP Mode: Survival SERVER NAME: SEED-ID: 785981 If applicable: MODIFIED PLAYFIELDS: none Reproducibility: 100% Severity: ruins map Type: shading of 3D object Summary: if you look in the map it inappropriately 3D shades the planet globe making it lighter closer to the POV in a way which conflicts with the day night shading Description: if you move the POV the 3D shading moves with it, but it is indistinguishable from the day/night terminator and means you cannot tell what time of day it is at a given location when looking at the map, considering the environmental gameplay involves changing conditions which depend on time of day, which makes a difference early game, this is gets in the way of that gameplay. See screeny, the south pole is at the bottom and the terminator is top-right of the globe, slightly angled on a line top-right to bottom-left but it appears to angle 90° to the left halfway down the globe, as if there was a second light source below the south pole, because that is where the "glow" coming from the POV 3D effect hits the terminator and makes the night side below that look like day. Steps to Reproduce: 1) look at the map 2) left click rotate globe to find terminator 3) observe permanent dayside lighting on parts of globe closer to POV & interference with terminator due to the 3D shading Screenshots, Crash Logs, any other Relevant Information or Download links: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3014873310
