I am looking for some information and advice on deciding between options. It is almost official "summer" and I will be trying to entertain two young men of mine after the ordeal of "home schooling" the past month or so now. Both have watched me play Empyrion and want to play. It would be nice, like Minecraft, to play together. I can foresee times where not all of us want to, or can play at the same time, but it would be nice to maintain the same world/universe. The two options I know of would be a dedicated server and co-op play. Are there other options? This site and others explain setting up a dedicated server, but can a (somewhat high powered) PC run that well? What other things am I not thinking about? Thanks for the replies.
