couldnt see this logged anywhere so please delete if its a dup. Mode: (Singleplayer) SEED-ID: 968873 If applicable: MODIFIED PLAYFIELDS: (NO) Reproducibility: (Always) Severity: Major Type: (Flight ) Summary: Sudden loss of vertical thrust Description: Flying along and randomly see to lose vertical thrust for a moment or two. Testing to try and replicate it seems to happen more often near basses but inconclusive. Also proved not related to mouse movement or cruise mode. Can happen flying in any direction.
Can you please show a video of this to demonstrate it ? Also a save game setup in a location where it can happen with steps to reproduce ?
Save attached The save is back at base after the video was taken. Seems to just be a case of flying about to re-produce Video im Youtubing just now
Video attached For the first few seconds I'm just moving about normally. At about 11 seconds cruise mode goes on -after that im snaking about normally as well. The issue doesn't actually occur until about 33 seconds, then you lose the thrust and smack into the ground
for me, this happens if you go forward and the nose of the ship is below level (or back if the nose is above level), the engines just shut off for the duration of the time the forward button is pressed. If you load up the save I attached to my post about bugs in my floor the massive sv there is a good candidate especially if mass and volume are turned on. I suggest using the arrow keys to turn since it takes a week to turn around.
Please test the latest exp build for this issue https://empyriononline.com/threads/alpha-experimental-9-3.47312/
Engines don't visually appear to turn off anymore for me, and I don't drop out of the sky like a rock anymore either. Still get some weirdness when I use my mouse to turn though ships end up cockided and have to be corrected with q,e, or o. But that is most likely an unrelated issue.
