Is it allowed to build land claim devices next to POIs? We have such an issue on the EU server on Goronor, where one player has claimed all the POIs for himself, preventing others from salvaging them. Since the planet is PvE, I see no way for other players to react to this. The affected POIs, so far as I can see, are: Abandoned Supply Depot, Abandoned Drone Base and Abandoned Bunker. There may be others. When he started putting land claim devices around every POI, I tried to save one (the Abandoned Drone Base) by building a base next to it. I thought that would prevent him from building a base there, but today I woke up with a drop base 1 meter next to mine (and a land claim device in it). This was particularly baffling, since I thought that there was a no-griefing zone around player bases, inside which other players cannot build.
AG zone around structures will only be there if you place a LandClaimDevice on the Structure. No its not allowed to do this around POIs!! I would need the PlayersName, some Proof that he is doing this and the ID of bases You can send me this in PM if you preffer
You open the console and type DI Then you look at his structure, the Id will be in the small black window
I'm afraid players cannot access the console. The key is disabled, and I cannot assign one in the options. I think the function is reserved for admins.
It's the ` key next to the 1 key on US English keyboards. You always have access to the console (but maybe not the command).
That was the first key that I tried. It doesn't do anything. The shortcut is empty. I tried remapping it in the options, and it is not possible to assign a key to it.
Ah then something is up with your keybindings. You could try resetting them back to default, or maybe Taelyn will have a better solution.
There's a POI on Goronor that won't regenerate anymore. It's been 3 days now since the Abandoned Drone Base at -4061, 76, 200 was raided, and since then there's just a square hole in the ground where the POI used to be.
Correct. General Rule is ALWAYS leave one block behind. Same with Asteroids. Leave something from the grey rock behind. If you dont the game can forget it and it wont regenerate any more Nothing i can do about it. Gone = Gone
Is this new? It used to be that dismantled POIs would regenerate every day, even when there were no blocks left.
If you read the rules its not allowed on a STARTER planet, but allowed else where, its part of the game
How about we do something about fuel consumption of bases on planet. My base is not that big ,36 grow plots one personal turret and it gobbles fuel like crazy and is making the game not fun at all
