Or allow it to be disabled on a per user basis. It is very irritating to try and read the forums with the snow moving through the words.
There is more snow falling on this forum than there has been where I live all winter. And I live in Canada.
The snow I think is for those not living in Canada. I'm in Alberta. Not much snow here this year. Love global warming.
I lived in Calgary and Edmonton, more of the former than the latter, off and on for years. Back "home" in Windsor, Ontario now.
I'm way up north. In Grande Prairie close to the Alaska highway. See if you can help those Maple Leafs get it right this year.
Avoid any attempt to catch snowflakes with your tongue. Eventually your screen will become hazy. I know.
OK now this si starting to REALLY get on my nerves, as the snow is interfering with my ability to have multiple browser windows open at once. Please get rid of this crap! It is bad code and has been since I first saw it years ago!
I use my phone 95% of the time so I don't see it. Don't see it on my Tablet ether. It's been a long time since I used this function in a Brower but you could switch to just plain text.
I have pretty much abandoned these forums in favour of the Steam EGS forums, mainly because of the snow.
Im on a 75 inch screen so Im guessing the snow sux for tiny screens like phones etc because it doesnt effect the readability on my screen at all, and all my kids recon, best x-mass game site this year ! It fascinates them that when you move the mouse the snow follows that direction.
Thank you, I mean it really! It was driving me crazy. Fortunately I get email notifications. P.S.: Piddlefoot, my screen is 2560x1440. It was not the size of the snowflakes but the number of them and the movement that bothered me. Don't asssume.
