    Mode: Survival
    Mode: Singleplayer

    SERVER NAME: NA
    SEED-ID: Any

    If applicable:
    MODIFIED PLAYFIELDS: Yes

    Reproducibility: Always
Severity: Major (for scenarios/playfields that rely on it)

    Type: POIs/playfields

Summary: MapDistance values over 0 makes POIs show at any distance.

Description: Adding the MapDistance property to a POI causes that POI to show up at any distance, regardless of what value you actually set. MapDistance of 0 does work to hide the POI from the map, but a MapDistance of 30 (or any other value) will make the POI show up from any distance.
This is a recent bug with the release candidate 1 or 2 of Alpha 10, as previously MapDistance worked fine (up to 500).

Steps to Reproduce: Add a MapDistance property to a POI and load it in-game. The POI will be visible on the map no matter how far away it is. Also effects default planet templates that use a MapDistance that isn't 0. The default TemperateSwampStarter is a perfect example because many wrecks are set at a very low MapDistance.

Screenshots, Crash Logs, any other Relevant Information or Download links: I do not believe this effects space playfields, but I did not test them in the latest alpha 10 version.
