@ravien_ff Much appriciated for the information. Thank you. I have another question. Why when I try to start a new game with Project Eden, when I change the seed I get a CoQ? It does not matter whatever I put by hand or random....
Change seed, change the scenario, then switch back to Project Eden. It's a game bug. Happens with any random scenario. Please feel free to report it.
Mate... I finally found the snow dwarf starter... started the mission... mate, what a ride, what a ride!!!! And I'm not finished yet! And where in the hell are those.... boss monsters in the regular Empyrion? Never saw that one before Eden!!!
So about the trading so far. Haven't managed to do a trade run yet, mostly because while I know about some stations and I figured out a source of at least one item that is in demand, but I seem to either fail at grasping the logic behind it or there is none. For example, I found the luxury goods merchant who sells luxuries and demands leather and diamonds. I figured, okay, tropical planets are the luxury spots, so I'll go to the resorts there surely there will be a trader buing luxury goods right? Well, either he is a well hidden guy or he isn't in the largest (marked on map!) Luxury POI on the tropical planet I found...
Right now most of the traders are orbital based. Habitats buy luxury goods. Depending on when you started your current save game, there should be information in the PDA about what buys and sells what goods.
Welp, I completely ignored info in PDA. Servers me right And I started in A11 - it's on server, admin put it up after the update dropped. Anyway, found some of the unknown signals today, was fun "hacking" into them You keep amazing me again and again
Well... given how often my server warns me about too much structures in playfiled (more than 300) i'd say this is a bit more common than just the dead planet.
For some reason when I try to mine asteroids on the orbit of Zoala, the game crashes. Previous and the two next asteroid fields and orbits are fine, I can mine there with no problems at all.
Zolaes is orbit and everything I try to mine crashes....If you are asking about the others they are both orbits and fields.
Planets are randomly named. Were the asteroids you were trying to mine in orbit in an asteroid field in orbit or just floating in empty space?
Inside a field. Also the FPS was very low caused by the "space fog", if I can name it like this, inside the field.
Okay thanks. Helps narrow it down a bit. Those asteroids are custom, but I've never had them crash when mined, and never had a FPS loss in a single asteroid field like that with space fog before. Are you playing on a PC with low specs? Mining the custom asteroids may cause slightly higher system resource use and that might crash your game if your memory is already running low. Though this is complete guessing on my part, I've never heard of this happening to anyone else, and I don't know why it would. Let me know if you find it crashing on anything else.
I went a couple of jumps ahead on another asteroid field and mined inside a field again but with no problems . I finished 5 minutes before typing those lines here. If I go back to the Problematic orbit and mine again anything I get a crash. Specs have nothing to do with it I have a GTX1070, mind you. Also a 4core 8 thread CPU on 4,5 GHz with 16GB of RAM
Any crash logs from any one of these crashes? If so they may be real helpful to figuring the situation out for you.
Actually a Polaris POI which @Vermillion created I believe. Maybe adapted for Eden but could be original too...
