If u dont have this one checked. Then nothing will happen if u reach the number If u uncheck "Structure Limit Control" believe u even wont get the message Ill ask the author of EAH to either increase the default 300 or add a box to edit all at once
Hmm, I don't have Structure limit control enabled. I do have Structure Activity Log enabled. So maybe that's the one that gives the warnings? Now how I got that 700 structures deleted message if I don't have Structure limit control enabled is still a mystery.
Did u wipe a playfield? EAH notice that and says Hey 700 structures got deleted. Just for u to be alert
Just got the info. Its just a warning. It wont delete anything. But one thing. Currently in the public branch there is a bug Only 255 structures are possible Even if u change it in the gameoptions.yaml Bug is fixed for A10 Might also explain why u get the message 700 structures are deleted
*Breathes sigh of relief* So it's not a problem specific to my scenario then. Whew. As soon as Alpha 10 goes into experimental, I'll be moving the test scenario to it.
Ive asked the autor of EAH to make it easyer to edit the Playfield Max Structures. Specialy handy when u have +100 playfields. Today he released a update : Added: Playfield: Copy Max Structure limit U can download the new version from the EAH website, or wait for the next game update
I can't start a new game of Eden Scenario this morning. Other scenarios start fine. CoQ almost immediately after hitting 'start'. Quit and Mail produces only a subject line "Empyrion Error - Build 2318 #8930C", no content in the email. Nothin in the logs except "(Line: 7, Col: 1, Idx: 191) - (Line: 7, Col: 1, Idx: 191): While scanning a simple key, could not find expected ':'." But that is OneWayWarpProb: 0 , and that looks fine to me. I'm at a loss. Did you change something? I started one yesterday. Edit: there is an "NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" near the end of the log that I just found. No indication of where that is coming from though.
That sounds like an error with a playfield. Did you try a different seed? I haven't changed anything. I'll have to go looking through them to see if there's an error at that location in any of the yamls.
I was able to start a new single player game with seed 376094 without an error. I'll have to do some more testing tonight or tomorrow.
I unsubscribed and re-subscribed to the Scenario in the Workshop and it started working again. Somehow it got corrupted. Thanks.
I'm loving the scenario Ravien! Great work! Are you still looking for POI's to add? If so what are you needing the most of? ie: bases, ships, creepy alien locations, or more things to fill in the space play-fields?
Thank you! Yes I'm always looking for more things to add. All of the above really but space content especially, since there's a lack of it in the default game so a lot of room to add new things.
Just updated the test scenario to add a few more space things: This will probably be the last update until Alpha 10 experimental. When A10 goes on the experimental branch, I'll update the test scenario for it. Update Ice Giant Planet: - Added alien ship wrecks buried very deep under the ice. - Small updates to the Deep Core Mining Facility. Still under construction. Planet still very much a work in progress. New Alien Moon: - Very dark and creepy, with strange green rifts and some small caves. Can be found orbiting some Alien and Dead planets. New space POIs: - Added Data Caches to some outer orbits: Hacking sites. Solve the puzzle to unlock the loot. Failure will result in loss of loot. Has directions on the outside. Custom loot is holographic screens that are normally not obtainable by the player. Screens are meant to represent data pads of some kind and can be sold to UCH Research Ships that are found in the middle solar system. - Added "Unknown Signal" POIs to inner and outer solar orbits. Leads players to hacking sites or derelict ships. - Added UCH Research Ships to some middle orbits: Admin bases. Buys the holographic screens that you get from Data Caches. - Added Polaris Industrial Farms to some middle orbits: Buys large amounts of farming supplies and sells large amounts of basic farming outputs like fruit and plant protein. - Renamed "Factory" to "Refinery".
