Yeah, I did think that. It's just one of those random things again. I play a vanilla game, all is well, play another, it works fine, load up PE for the first time in a little while and they're broken. I've used the "baseattack clear" command to reset things, so we'll see if it eventually works! Scoob.
Hi, I'm having problems with Base Attacks breaking constantly. I get the alert but the attack never shows up and the base status goes from "Now" to blank. A few moments after this occurs I start seeing the Console massages saying there is already a base attack in progress. This is not true. Would it be possible to examine my saved game to see what is wrong? This is happening time and time again and ALL the bases I own / have owned. It even occurred when I had just ONE base. I deleted the baseattack file (suggestion by Taelyn) which fixed the next base attack, but others have failed since. Cheers, Scoob.
Is this reforged? Project eden changes nothing with the faction warfare file so that wouldn't cause an issue. Which planet types are giving you trouble?
Standard Project Eden and I'm on the ocean starting planet of Oscotune. This may well be a vanilla issue but I'm getting it constantly in this game start, where I did not in prior starts. Scoob.
Yeah, I just got an attack, (Project Eden) on a base I took over. Which is the only way I would get one since I don't see any reason to have a base except temporary ones for deconstructing.
Hi, Subscribed to Reforged Eden yesterday and started a COOP test (Empyrion 12.3.3.3034). Might be something with Reforged Galaxy. Vermillion's computer is out of commission for a week or so so it might not be fixed by then unfortunately.
I went ahead and created my own scenario. Used Project Eden as base for my scenario. Copied Reforged Galaxy 1.47 into configuration folder. Scenario will not launch initially as COOP per raven_ff's comments above. I confirm launching as solo first then COOP works. Why didn't Reforged Eden work? See my earlier post about error. I'll offer what I found, perhaps it's useful. Comparing Project Eden(1742662471) and Reforged Eden(2154284616) folders shows that there are significant differences in the playfields folders. Random examination shows that the playfield_static.yaml files for PE have many entries such as: Code: DistTypeCylinder: MaxRadius: 13 YVariance: 5 And the corresponding RE files have these lines commented out. Also, RE has an Extras/Localization.csv and PE does not.
Yes that is intended. Project Eden sets all ore deposits to SSOR nuggets while Reforged Eden uses all voxel deposits so you get the increased ore yield from Reforged Galaxy.
There is a config setting to increase the drop count per voxel from voxel deposits but no such setting exists for SSOR deposits. Reforged uses this setting to make it so deposits are many times higher to balance the increased resource cost for everything. So if you play Reforged with the standard SSOR deposits from PE you will need to mine out many more deposits to craft the same amount of things.
To avoid EGS updating and me not being able to continue my current savegame of PE i put steam into offline modus before going to bed. The update is out now (which i don´t think is a factor in my case) but when starting the game and trying to resume game a popup comes up and tells me to delete save games X, Y, Z... (all the PE ones) as they´re missing. All the savegames also had a (MISSING) tag. I was able to load the PE savegame just fine though.
Asking again here although playing RE... My son and I were doing the "Explore Epsilon" quest from the Captain when we hit the first Dead log- now we can't finish the exploration, it doesn't show in the PDA and was only half-finished. Any way to retrieve it?
