There's no easy way to remove them from Zirax space. I would if it was possible. It might be in the future though since they are improving things every update.
Basically don't look for Polaris or uch stuff in Zirax space. It's not a game bug but rather just a quirk of the scenario that cannot be changed.
Yeah, I see. That is not a problem tbh. Now when I know I can just avoid them. I really appreciate all your hard work to this mod guys. Thank you very much. It just gives a second breath to the game. I have experience modding other games, but so much work these days. Maybe I'll look deeper into files when I have time and mood. This piece of art should evolve and prosper! Thanks again!
I encountered the same question as you. Yes, it would be easier to "not find" those asteroids where nobody is. But in a pure RP, you could think that it "was" a polaris mining field, still known as that, but zirax made polaris move away. So, just seek outside the zirax invaded part of the galaxy, and there you'll find polaris at work ;-)
And it seems like the same goes for UCH Research, right? Tbh we start in the heart of Zirax sphere, with dozens of Polaris stations. We have Polaris stations both on planets and in space through Zirax territory pretty everywhere. So thinking RP-way, while it is possible, that SOME stations were annihilated for whatever reason, it absolutely makes no sense, that ALL such playfields are empty
The following applies to the Project Eden side of things: There are so many new things added for scenarios in this update, along with quite a few game changes! Unfortunately I won't have time to do more than a minor update for version 1.3. The scenario will be compatible and should work just fine, but I might not get the new game POIs and missions and factions fully added until early next year when I get more vacation time. So don't expect any big changes to the scenario itself for the 1.3 update, but please know that I am working on it!
Just to give another update: Assuming Empyrion 1.3 goes live on the 15th, I have that day off work so I should be able to get the scenario updated either right after the game updates, or later on that day after I wake up. Depends what time they do the update and if they sneak in any extra changes. The scenario won't be updated with the new default game PDA missions or some of the new game's POIs. I just haven't had the best work schedule lately compared to what I had at the start of the year so I've had a lot less free time available. I'm going to take some vacation days the first few months of next year to work on a bigger update to the scenario.
A reminder: please only report bugs to the Empyrion devs after you've reproduced it in a default game. This not only helps the developers fix bugs with the game, but also verifies any scenario bugs that I can fix on my end. Without the important step of reproducing in a default game I don't know if a bug is game or scenario related and the devs have to spend time sorting through bugs that might not be their fault.
Project Eden isn't loading the Spoiler: Spoiler Alert GLaD outpost at Sigma Zero Vanilla loaded with no apparent issue. Strangely, this line: Spoiler: Log Spoiler 21-20:19:12.784 14_19 -WRN- PDA: Playfield POI 'BAO_GLaDOutpost1' (or else) not found appears in the console and log with vanilla and Eden.
Tales of the Past will not initiate. Once I completed Settling Dust there were no further messages. Approaching the Talon does not initiate any further conversation and the PDA says the mission cannot be started without Neutral faction which I currently have.
I was in Lamorum Epsilon, the asteroid field in Layivnapha system. It's tagged as (Sigma Zero) in my seed.
Is it something I could fix in my save file or configs? Project Eden is so much more fun than the vanilla game, but I also want to enjoy the rest of the available story missions.
I have verified it appears to be a game bug and reported it here: https://empyriononline.com/threads/...-yaml-has-drones-but-no-patrol-vessels.96602/ Until that bug is fixed, don't travel to the Sphere Access 1 sector in the Dyson Sphere system in the Decay star cluster.
Hotfix: - Temporarily fixed a CoQ loop in the Sphere Access 1 playfield by adding a freighter. If you want to fix your existing save games in single player or on your server, you can copy the new playfield.yaml in EdenSpaceProg_DysonAccess1 from the Playfields folder of the scenario and overwrite the playfield.yaml in the Templates/Sphere Access 1 folder of your save game. See the Project Eden Configuration Guide on where to find the scenario data. Only do this if you are confident with copying files and configuring scenarios. If you don't want to bother, then just don't warp to the Sphere Access 1 system, or wait to see if the bug will be fixed in the game. You need to manually update the scenario on your server otherwise it can cause issues.
Hey all, I'm playing a Reforged Eden game, but I understand the Planet generation is a Project Eden thing, not tweaked by Reforged. With that in mind, perhaps I'm just not remembering right, I thought that Titanium was traditionally available on the Moon(s) of the starting planets. I've started on both the Snow Dwarf and Alien planets recently, and neither have any Titanium available. Has that been changed because these starts are harder, so Titanium has been removed - i.e. I need to jump elsewhere to find it - to further enhance the difficulty? I ask because I have had random seed gremlins in the past, where resources that were supposed to spawn, didn't - though it was a while ago I last experienced this. As an aside, the Alien start is definitely tougher these days - though that might be down to Reforged changes - also all POI's and deposits are guarded by two or three Drone, often with at least one being a heavy Drone. I'm liking this challenge. Several hours in and I only have a basic Base, a "Lifter" SV (cargo, not really built for combat) and an even more basic Mining HV to gather rocks to convert to useful Ores. Overly full and sleepy after day one of leftovers, likely making me a bit less effective at playing lol. Scoob.
In the default game the starter moons have small titanium deposits but not in Eden. You'll have to salvage, loot, trade, or warp to an asteroid field or snow planet.
I have actually checked my game, and only "Delta Asteroid Field I" reports having any Titanium deposits. I have looted Titanium Plates in my prior game (Snow Dwarf) and I understand I can smelt these down into Titanium Ore. I've not progressed to the stage where I can build a Furnace though so far. I did report on the RE thread that CPU extenders needing Titanium Ingots, rather than Plates seemed like a recipe oversight, as most other recipes were tweaked to use intermediary products such as Steel Plates, Titanium Plates etc. rather than basic Ingots. As I play modified these days, it's difficult to know what things are Vanilla, and what might have been modded. Note: I usually play by just salvaging wrecks and POI's for the materials needed to get a CV built quite early on. However, in my prior game, there were no crashed CV's to loot, hence why I went Titanium hunting directly and didn't find any. Even the snow planets had none. In my current game, I'll just build a warp-capable SV and go get some. However, it's quite tricky to build a viable vessel which is warp capable and has ample cargo space within the base CPU limit. I might build some basic "Cargo box" HV's and dock them to a warp-capable SV... Feeling quite dopey from excess food consumption...perhaps chocolates will help? Scoob.
