So, big surprise for me yesterday as I where lurking around on the new red vs blue server, thinking I had it all to myself... Suddenly out of the blue I got a communica. origen: GMT (former BMT) sender: 82nd!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The long lost leader of the former BMT had been held captive by an unknown enemy - his ability to describe this new enemy was somewhat lacking in detail - due to the massive amounts of torture they've put him through. He only managed to escape when the former solar system went critical - which ended in a supernova destroying the entire system. thankfully he got hold of an extraction transport and escaped to a new system, OUR new system.. welcome back 82nd

Well I volunteered to run Red Team long ago, I can only assume Shakles volunteered to run Blue. So far, then, it would seem to be a volunteer position, though it can always be changed. The question is, I suppose who wants to be leader?
I wouldn't mind being Leader, except 1: My RL is never stable, & 2: My damn RL Brain is more then a little competence-impaired. Edit: Oh... my... Arceus... I just got the Motherboard & Graphics Card Drivers Installed onto my New Build after my stunt with Windows Backup being used on my New Computer & after finishing those Graphics Drivers Installation, a pop-up asked if I wanted to enable some kinda 'virtual resolution' something or other & I succumbed to curiosity & clicked 'Yes', then it needed to Restart, so I allowed it... Now my New Build is somehow running 2560x1600 Res on my 1920x1200 Res Monitor! What amazing Computer Black Magic is this!!? How is it doing this!!?

Today when I've tucked the kids (and wife) I'll be heading out into space in the new solar system with both a small fighter and warp capable CV... it's been hard to live in solitude so now I'll venture out to seek new adventures (just to get a glimpse of the layout)

Among the things that wouldn't transfer, my W10 OS. So... I tried to Reinstall W10 onto the New Build & it won't let me... seems my W7 Free Upgrade to W10 on the Old Build might be outright LOCKED onto the Old Build & can't seem to be used on ANYTHING else... (Not even removing it on my Microsoft Account worked.) so it appears my New Build will NOT get to use the W10 Integrated Video Recorder with a Graphics Card that CAN run it & my Old Build with the Integrated Recorder can't use it cause its Graphics Card is much too weak for it... Fuck you too Microsoft... That Integrated Recorder & the Cortana Reminders thing are LITERALLY the only 2 W10 Features I like that W7 doesn't have, in exchange for W10's bullshit De-evolution on its Interface compared to W7, so i'll just let my New Build use the W7 & just eventually Install Bandicam onto it or something. IMHO W10 is NOT worth buying... so if I can't transfer my W10 from Old Build to New Build, I guess my W10 usage is soon to end. Microsoft... the ones who metaphorically act like old Gauntlet Game Players that shoot all the Food they encounter... Post-W7 Era...
so yesterday I had a go on exploring the new solar system... just had to message Shakles right away... damn it's nicely set up, really had to compliment him on it... can't wait to get some alpha game time and the rest of you, be excited, this is gonna be greeeeeeat!
Dammit... New Computer Build is taking longer to get done then I hoped... even got a damn 'Upgrade to W10' Popup on my Taskbar trolling me by telling me I can Upgrade to W10 for free then I keep clicking it then it says 'Starting Download' followed by bla bla bla then it never doing anything or getting past this point... Also Dad's comin here this weekend so seems like it'll be a miracle if I even get to Creative Mode in the Alpha this weekend, & I have no clue if he's gonna drag me off this Sunday or Monday Morning either... (& there's so many peeps out there that think THEY got it bad...)

82nd has been acting in a leadership role of GMT today, I'm not sure if he's been paying attention to the forums.
I've informed Shalkes and Slam that the loss because of the recent reset of Reds playfield was more than I could handle without a warning. - reason: Empyrion and especially Red vs blue is my source of relaxation atm since I'm under a lot of work pressure - this loss turned that into frustration. - and yeah I know that in an alpha u need to expect bug, and the falling through the planet, losing a constructed item from time to time etc - that i can live with - but 6 hours of gametime lost ( normally I have 2-3 hours a day of maximum gametime) was a bit over the top right now. Both Shakles and Slam are doing an amazing job and wanted to replace as much as possible, but that would require me to be able to remember all I've stored (impossible for me) and still I would have to re-dig the hole for my underground base, stuff I currently don't have the time for. so I'm going back to creative and other games, and I'm staying there for an unknown amount of time. aka. quitting red vs blue until further notice.
