    F8-Wasp
Latest addition to my workshop, a cheap yet effective SV that can be a first ship at level 10 or can be upgraded to work as a defensive fighter to protect CVs later on.

The F8-Wasp is a short-range fighter designed for quick skirmishes and defensive support. Highly manoeuvrable and quick off the mark, the Wasp a hard target to hit; and with two front-loaded missile lauchers it can find a kill on all but the most heavily armoured targets.

With a low level requirement, affordable resource cost and a fast build time, it's always handy to have a Wasp ready to deploy from your factory. Multiple Wasps are a quick and easy solution to fill up docking bays in carrier CVs, forming a deadly swarm in large squadrons.

    Main:

    • 1 generator
    • 2 fuel tanks
    • 2 oxygen tanks
    • 2 RCS
    • 18 thrusters

    Weapons:

    • 2 missile launchers
    • 1 ammo box

Continuing with my Winters brand (from my latest HV) I've started on their civilian aircar range, the T-Class. First up the T-8:

    t08custom.png

Thought I'd do a screenshot with a range of different paint jobs for a change. The white and blue is standard:

    t08profile.png t08dorsal.png t08ventral.png t8front.png t08side.png t08rear.png

This was designed as my "first" SV in a new game because of the low material cost, unlock level, and the ridiculous speed of it so although it has no weapons it doesn't really need them since it can dodge pretty much anything.

Those are really nice Dead8eye, I especially like the little bug ship and the hover tank! I keep trying to do something similar to the tank but I can never quite get the shape right.

How can I link to my workshop page? It seems I only can link my objects, but not the workshop itself like dead8eye. :'-(

Looks like a cool little dude, but ya might wanna add at least one Dogfighting Weapon for anti-Space Drone/SV defense. Stuff that dodges for days will laugh at Rockets & kill you while never getting hit at all. If this is intended for low level peep usage, Miniguns are a viable option. Trust me, my Pre-Alpha Tyrax Starter SV had only 2 Rocket Launchers & it was hell trying to hit those damn fast Laser Space Drones. After my 4th or 5th fight with them I was ready to start thinking about making my next Tier of SV to combat them.

Not sure, this is the right way... But, it works :)

    1: Open STEAM
2: Click your name, in the top menu
3: Click "content" in the drop-down menu.
4: RIGHT-click the "Workshop Items" Tab.
5: Right-click "Copy Link Adress" in the dropdown box.

Now, the adress, is in the memory. Recomend you paste that adress into the adressbar, in a new window in your browser, so you're certain, to have it, and so youre certain, it's the right page.

Now, just put in the link as you nomally would, when adding links :)

Oh yeah, it can be fitted with gatlings too. No requirement to use missiles.

I might just replace one of them with a gatling, actually...

I rebuilt my Work Sled from scratch (that memory leak thing again ...) and updated the blueprints on Steam. Dunno that anyone else actually uses it, but it's a design I'm fond of - a light utility craft I use for salvaging, building and mining in space. It tends to double as a station hack for orbital bases as well. The open back lets me access everything easily while floating about in zero-G. In this case, "everything" is oxygen, 3 cargo boxes, a small constructor (mainly used for turning plates back into blocks while building) and a fridge.

For those times when you need to take a friend along with you, the Winters T-11:

    Raven 2A Assault ship

A beefier version of the Raven II, this ship is made for destroying heavily defended drone buildings.

    - 8 rocket launchers
    - 6 Plasma launchers
    - Additional armor in the ass end, good for flyover attacks that usually result in rear damage if you cannot avoid enemy plasma shots in time. Also some side armor
    - 6 additional reverse thrusters
    - 4 additional forward thrusters
    - 6 additional fuel tanks
    - 6 additional RCSs
    - 2 additional generators
    - 8 more ammo crates (you may want to stuff more in)

    Cons

    - Given the amount of guns, it eats ammo quickly. Be prepared to use a lot of resources to fully load this beast.

    Pros

    - It takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'
    - "I am become death, destroyer of worlds" -J. Robert Oppenheimer

I need to, like, come up with a design og my own ships and start posting them here xD

Unfortunately most of my homemade ships are, like, flying blocks

Play around with the the different block types. Once you get used to how they fit together, creating cool and functional ship designs becomes much easier. The way i do it, is to build the x then y of the frame. From there, I decide where the cockpit, thrusters and weapons will go. The rest is mostly enclosing the frame and fitting the core hardware.

Huh... I usually place the cockpit and then build around it, interesting idea.
