Hmm vexray, I'm having a hard time now telling these ships apart. Maybe its time to make a giant collage image of them all together
Helldiver heavy shuttle. Pretty... unusual craft for me. It's really, really heavy (more then 20 tons), it's 100% armored and has a lot of weapon. And you have an additional door. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=746976905
I have a small one on a left side of a cockpit plus arrows pointing weapons and decals inside. And it's painted! It's just, well, a grey paint
I think I am finally getting the hang of SV designing. I still need more practice.... a lot more, but I will s hare with the community the Red Baron. It is a small-to-medium sized sv that is fast, nimble, though it needs a bit more work on the vertical thrust - needs more "oomph." Since I spend all my time in survival single player PVE all the weapons are in the nose/forward section for turret and drone killing. Also, for posting to steam, what is the recommended way to reduce file size - what method is most convenient? Enjoy!
Next up, and in a similar vein to the Red Baron is the Grey Knight. I like the swept forward wing design so I thought I would give it one more try. The Grey Knight is similar sized, while utilizing a smaller block count, less weight, and being more maneuverable and more controllable(more balanced.) Still trying to figure out how to reduce file size for more images in steam, but both the Red Baron and the Grey Knight are now located in the Workshop.
Last(at least for now) but certainly not least, is my favorite of the three: the Aura Vita. The Gatling Cannon is growing on me as a viable weapon and I am using it more and more. So this ship is based around a hilarious 6 of them in the nose for killing POI turrets and Drones(makes the design look a bit ridiculous - though it is still very sexy.) This ship is small, super tough, very fast, highly maneuverable, and has all the amenities except a constructor. It is also now located on the Workshop - but I am also still learning about file size reduction so only one image for the entry for the time being. Enjoy!
Sir, you say this is unusual for you yet this is a wonder! Nicely done! This is one of those phenomenal builds where you can learn a lot just be studying it.
Cool lookin dudes, though your Rocket Launcher Placement makes me Facepalm. Steam prefers the weenie .jpg Format for some reason despite the fact that .png is superior. Go figure. Also, if ya want more Likes for your Creations on their Workshop Pages, it's a good idea to Link the Webpages of the Creation's Workshop Web Pages here so us Lazy People can simply Click the Link, & Click the Like Button on them.
Yes I know, but I need the rocket launchers all in one place for focus fire and I have yet to have any problems - emphasis on YET. Also, thank you thank you thank you for the info on png vs jpg. Converted them all and poof! The workshop now has some more images. I also agree that a workshop link or link(s) would be helpful, and especially that they now have some more images I will assist: Grey Knight http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=754594095 Red Baron http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=754489023 And Aura Vita http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=754599040
No sweat. Also, try flying your Rocket Launcher dude Red Baron at top speed forward-left or forward-right then try firing the Rocket Launchers & see if that gives ya any problems. (I'm betting ya can kiss your Cockpit buh-bye after a couple Salvos.)
Here is my first published Blueprint of a No Man's Sky Ship https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=755339081
Hi guys! Wow your ships are looking amazing! So much cool designs out their i am really impressed. Today i built my first spaceship for empyrion and wanted to share it with you. It is a very light scout ship, with only 2 gatlingguns. But it is fast and cost effective i think. I am always open for feedback! Best Regards Nova! Edit: So i even published it on steam workshop, you can find it under this url: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=756540566
My first ship: Lonestar's Eagle V Winnebago from Spaceballs. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=750842914
If you have not already, you should publish that to the steam workshop Nova. Nice design. Also, is that one of the forward facing thrusters that I see right behind the pilots head position? That is intense!
The experimentation continues: Introducing the Bastion Totalis. I envisioned it as a Heavy Utility Bomber, or perhaps heavy fight/corvette. It is larger, heavy, but very fast and agile. Possesses eight rocket launchers in the nose - and do be careful what you fire at, if you want to keep a POI intact for base capture or thorough looting, BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU AIM. On a further and the most important note; the Bastion is my first attempt at expanding into symbols/decals and textures beyond a nice paint job. If you have a moment, pop it into creative and then tell me what you think - I could use some thoughtful observations/criticisms/recommendations. Thanks and enjoy!
