I've put together a collection of Buck Rogers ships. Buck Rogers Starfighter Hawk Fighter Draconian Marauder
I had a Buck Rogers fighter toy as a kid, the only difference was the toy had a bar to join the two front points for safety, probably because the makers were worried they toy would be a lethal weapon otherwise Nice re-make there.
Hey ppl. i'm back to business and still development my pirate/spaceviking series.... i hope so... (and i have to remember to take photos from outside ships ) More details: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1532012727
The F-17C Hammerhead is a carrier based medium fighter with heavy internal firewalling and component redundancy for high combat durability. Intended for use from the Essex and Farragut class carriers, the F-17C provides fleet defense, interception, and strike capabilities. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1517897389 And sitting beside the F-17C on deck is the FA-7A Scythe Scout, a light carrier based fighter designed to act in the combat air patrol, recon, and light interceptor roles. Smaller than the F-17C, the FA-7A is a single main thruster fighter that is highly nimble and maneuverable, dodging enemy fire easily. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1507376807 Picture of both fighters operating from Farragut class OCAS operating in carrier mode.
Mohi Sedo Industies ------------------------ https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1557184247 The desire for cheap ships never ends, especially those equipped with warp drives. As a result, MSI has crafted a tidy little starship which fills this need with style. This small vessel comes equipped with the basics (O2 station, Armor locker, 3 storage boxes, and 1 constructor), and is enclosed in a very responsive body. Though it is not fast, it has the necessities required for planet hopping and also carries 3 gatling guns for drone play. It is also small and capable of fitting into the tighest corners or landing bays. Iron 452 Copper 386 Silicon 285 Cobalt 122 As always, MSI guarantees customer satisfaction and our technical crew is happy to aid with any construction details. Mohi Sedo Industries ------------------------- https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1556118487 Upgrading can be difficult, and choices are numerous. MSI has created a warp ship with the firepower to take on moderate threats and enemies. While not heavily armored, this ship is very maneuverable and deadly in the hands of a skilled pilot. Weapons included are: 4 gatling guns and 3 missile launchers. The weapons are tucked back, and the cockpit is enshrouded on all sides. If desired, upgrading the steel to armor will only impact performance slightly, while greatly improving survivability. O2 station and armor locker are found behind a back panel. Also, there is a fridge, constructor, and 4 cargo boxes. This should provide everything needed for extended outings and missions. Iron 1074 Copper 574 Silicon 439 Cobalt 614 Neodymium 30 Sathium 12 As always, MSI maintains strong technical support and guarantees quality workmanship. One I've been holding onto for a while: The Pterois It features retractable "vanes" as ablative protection from lagshots.
My new fast high performance vessel, the Purgatory SSX https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1559329025
The "Hope" A planet explorer, found at an GAX-spaceship-exhibition nearby, liked it and, uhm, flew away with it. But i will keep the name - and hope, they won't get me https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1568929636
Workshop-Link: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1571955213 The NSI-Aranean is a Noa|m Space Industries small vessel. It was constructed to be used as a heavy fighter/long range mission-vessel in conjuction with the NSI-Nidus (CV) as a base (Link to workshop below). Since the need for a faster ship that uses less fuel (than my CV) on planets and can take out anything in it's path was needed, the good workers at NSI created the Aranean. It sports 2 cockpits. One in the front with a small view and a secure one in the middle of the ship. Redudancy off everything in case of a boo-boo happens. All outer hull is Hardened steel blocks. There is actually 1 door and a 1 shutter door leading in to the vessel (for that extra rear protection. The ship handles very well and uses surprisingly littly fuel for its size and capabilities. It has been thoroughly tested by our testpilots and the verdict is that it handles on par with other "high-end" SV's currently on market. Some stats: - Size Class: 3 - Unlock Level: 20 - Mass 226t Equipment: • 4 Constructors • 4 Fridges • O2 Station • Armor Locker • Ventilator • 24 Cargo Boxes • 8 Ammo Boxes • 26 Fuel Tanks • 24 Oxygen Tanks • Sensors on lights, ramps etc • Levers for control of thrusters, weapons, etc Weaponry: • 4 Plasma Cannon • 6 Gattling Gun • 4 Pulse Laser • 4 Rail Gun • 4 Rocket Launcher (Homing) Note: This is my first real SV i have made in Empyrion (started playing when 8.6 (i think) came out). So it might not be as "optimized" as many of you are a custom too. Please make a comment with changes, tips, praises, critique or just to say hi PS! I have a CV within the same shape/scheme to go with this ship here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1571847151 PS2! Also wanna thank the other creators here like eg. JRandall, Piddlefoot and everyone else for their outstanding work in creating beautifull, functional and overall awesome ships for us plebs to dl and use. You are an inspiration and also a very good source of knowledge.
Who remembers the awesome planes from Crimson Skies? The Crimson Crossfire is an inspiration of the wing configuration of the Hughes P21-J Devastator and the mid-cockpit design of the Fairchild F611 Brigand. Given the limitations of the games building blocks, it was not possible to have the sleek curvy shape, most Crimson Skies planes have, however I attempted to keep true to the same design principles. Heavily armed with a range of rail guns, plasma cannons, mini-guns and missiles, the vessel features ample ammo boxes, with all weapons housed within a hardened steel shell. Front and underside spotlights help with near-ground level navigation with the rear compartment featuring utility stations and cargo space. These stations are protected by shuttle-bay doors, linked to a motion sensor which will open the doors automatically when approaching the rear of the vessel. I attempted to give the illusion of a propeller, with the use of glass and shuttered windows around the nose section. The paint scheme is from the P21-J Devastator, using white stripping on black for that 50's racing stripe look.
