    Maybe I can go for custom playfield and POI and set the planet water level high enough in the playfield config to cause it to be in water - I feel a "Waterworld" themed planet here.

    I've updated these 3 POI's with the cool new shapes we have now. Haven't changed anything major apart from moving the core of the research facility and adding an ornate wall around the sepulcher. Was blown away when I first saw the new shapes and couldn't handle thinking about all the new shape possibilities! After sleeping on it I had a lot of fun experimenting. I've saved some ides for new POI's as they didn't fit the old ones.

    Very cool. Been thinking about finally returning and giving this thread more love now that it looks like the dust cloud of new building stuff the developers kicked up is finally settling.

    Hmm, might as well pop my first ever easter-egg in here as well. It's rather old design but the idea was fun even back at the day and I've dropped few of them on the every co-op game we play :D

    So to prove that players on your servers are few millennias too late to be first to find new moon you can drop this viking boat in the appropriate plain and then shoot it in half (or ram it on proper crater rim). All the fuel tanks are in middle so it'll go boom like decades old stick of dynamite :D

    What to do when that dinosteak you ate yesterday decides it's time to come out? You need one of these o'course! Built in two pieces, the helipad and throne are separate buildings, which you need to connect yourself.

    Love stucture # 10. It is the kind of thing I believe ancients would have made as tribute to a good harvest. I do have one criticism however, This structure deserves to be surrounded by an interesting rock formation and not a round cornered base. My personal preference.

    We are in the process of creating an entirely custom galaxy. Have thus far given all vanilla planets their own custom playfield and added about 20 new planets. So I have a question. Is there a hard coded max # of POIs that can be placed on a single playfield? We are customizing all vanilla POIs and have about 30 new POIs to add. Each POI is given a unique group name so we can individually place each, rather than the present cluster groups that let the game decide. Thanks

    Hi guys,

    I created a dungeonlike POI (for 6.x) to explore: The "Weapon Research Center"

    If you enjoy POIs like the Abandoned Factory or Abandoned Mine, then this is for you!

    Features:
    - destructible alien core to find
    - public armor lockers and med pads
    - open doors and door codes you can find for locked doors
    - hidden secret containers
    - motion sensors to activate lights for improved performance
    - motion sensors to activate spawn pads so you don't get spoilered with creature sounds too early
    - end boss
    - rectangular build so it can be sunken into the ground properly when spawning it with a playfield yaml file

    Update 11.05.2017:
    - added a teleporter out of last room
    - added public repair station
    - fixed main entry which was previously too narrow to walk into
    - fixed a few motion sensor detection areas
    - added more vents for playfields without oxygen
    - recommended offset into ground is now -12

    I recommend to spawn it on a planet with flat terrain (like Omicron or a snow planet). In 6.+ a lot of trees and grass can still grow into the building on Akua.

    This was great dungeon experience, highly recommended to check it out! I love Abandoned Mine and Factory, and I think this is right up there with them. I will be using this on my own games from now on.

    Nice one mate, but I guess the spawn points sensors were not working, I mean never found the end boss and roughly half the spawn points never activated.

    Also you probably should set it to -12 to get it a bit lower on the ground and spread the ammo boxes a bit further away from each others, if one goes off they all will...

    Version 6.0.11 of my 50 random generated planets now will always spawn 1-2 blueprints from the "customPOI" group if they are installed, such as amurayiwestgate's Weapons Research Center.

    After a settlement rush a lot of settlers started to build bases everywhere. But not all of them have been finished. Now the foundations of a future full of hope are nothing more than abandoned concrete in the ground with rusting equipment scattered around it.
