    Version: 1.9.2 4016 12-15:48
    Mode: Survival
    Seed-Id: any
    Reproducibility: always
Severity: initially minor but eventually awful and headache inducing 8^)
    Type: rendering
    Repro/Summary:

Create a survival game with defaults. GM, IM. Create a minimal SV using starter block, a cockpit, (6) small engines, small fuel, small gen, and a headlight placed on the front of the cockpit. Go to space, turn on light, and accelerate.

At ~50 m/s a bright glare appears in the cabin where the back of the headlight is.

That could be where the flashing is coming from- you move forward into where the light from the previous still is. Speed of light in Andromeda galaxy = 50 km/hr. 8^)

I was wrong about the "go to space" part- happens everywhere.

Dumb theory; does it still happen when reversing at high speed?

Follow on- happens with CVs as well. I moved the light up to where you could see it throughout the acceleration- light bleeds through the back at full stop and that light starts strobing when the vessel gets to 60 m/s (not 50) ... it shows through the cockpit wall once the flashing effect starts.

Hopefully just a simple tweak to the model. Anyhow, thanks for looking.
