this is what I did. I did it in space in a creative game Spawn the BP spawn a new starter block (make sure they are oriented in the same direction) using the tools in the N menu select the entire BP copy the BP move it to the new starter block past in this new position ( i put the core in the exact spot of the core, I do not know if this is necessary) You have now created a new ship with your name as the author, as it is technically a new creation. I found 2 Youtube videos that explained it, sort of and perhaps this one
Yes pls! @Hummel-o-War Can we pls have an option to roll back to 11.1 before you guys go on your holiday breaks asap ? Was gonna use my last week vacation (16 dec.) to work on updating my WS, but in this stage i can not do anything untill this critical flaw has been solved.
If you build a new vessel from scratch you'll find the values are not right. Last night I had to copy and paste something like 5 times in an attempt to make sure I understood how it moved. (Edit: for clarity 5 times during the process of building it) Every time I did so the values on th thrusters I'd added were found to be affected. Makes it very difficult to build properly. When it's fixed is if course up to you but it definitely needs to be picked up by someone.
Looks like it's a thruster issue? Here I've centered everything on a test CV. but it wasn't until I spun a thruster in the back 180 everything seemed to center, but it gets even weirder. Then I tried a test SV...same issue, but even wackier distributions. It seemed to be uncentered weight in the thruster that can't be adjusted by looking externally at some of these thrusters. So then I remembered the "Get in the cockpit trick", but first I took off the thrusters to see if anything would change and yes the blue ball was off. Then I placed a cockpit on it but didn't get in it and sure enough the blue ball lined up, then the dang thing sank in to the build pad. To conclude, lol I have no Idea what is going on.
