I've lost 2 CV's this month trying to ninja, any recommendations? The blockades just rip through my shields and armor too quick to get in and out in time. Without the blockades it's really easy to ninja any needed resources and warp away if there's danger. I'm just not sure how to get past them without blowing them up, and that's really hard for me to do until I can get some Z & E for better weapons. Right now I'm just hitting POI's over and over again until I have enough Z and E for one of my pvp ships to take out a blockade. But the grind is real slow as I have to wait for the POI's to re-spawn and they just don't award very much.
having small amount of z/e in pve would work just to allow people to build some small pvp ships, however it shouldnt be easy to get. something like having 1 small roid of each type surrounded by tons of zirax. maybe 500 ore each per roid with a long regen time so within a few trips you could build a small pvp ship but it'd still be much slower than going into pvp to mine
if bases are an issue you can either try to kill them with a sv by los-ing the turrets or you can make a "wall" cv to distract/block the base from shooting at you

you can still make a nice ship at lower class sizes that can pvp and looks good. increasing the class size limit just adds more lag, having a class 10 brick moving around lags a ton. also having a higher class size encourages people to build even bigger ugly bricks

shockingly enough when you spam tons of lights, devices, and make a 200k sath brick is ends up being high class size in case it isnt obvious enough if you want lower class size ships that look nice then use less devices (larger thrusters/gens instead of many small thrusters/gens), reduce surface area (use interior as whitespacing, clump non-chaining devices together), and reduce the light count drastically. also you seem to think size class is the only thing that determines how good a ship is. in reality size class has little to do with a ships effectiveness, as you can easily make a really tanky pvp ship at class 1 (~40k sath of bait lol), have a really good pvp ship thats smaller at class 3 (our main pvp ship, class 3 30k sath), or have a giant class 10 that gets crushed by our public workshop class 1s (look at any empy server lol). making ships pretty doesnt make them worse it just bloats out the class size a little, even our main combat cv at class 3 has loads of extra triangles which could be cut down to make room for interior without ever going near class 6 just because you cant figure out how to make a pretty ship that works well at class 6 or below doesnt mean its impossible
