Just bought the game, and immediately built my first SV in creative mode to get used to the building and flying systems. It's based on the Utapaun Porax-38 starfighter from Star Wars, and I think it looks pretty good so far! View attachment 1375 Not sure how practical it will be due to the placement of the primary weapons, but at this point I'm still tinkering with it
View attachment 1449 Started trying to build a "Serenity" like ship (From Firefly). I suspect it will be an homage more than an accurate representation.
Trans-Atmospheric Vehicle. 200+ block S.V Features rear and top entrance. (Wish we had doors/hatches for SV and GV) Can hold 3 or 4 people on the interior. Lots of room for weaponry, additional items. Would be really great with HOTAS, as it flies best using roll and pitch. I had three different looks for the nose but couldnt decide on which one I wanted to use,so I went with the last one I built, for the sake of completion, as it took a long time to build. Inspired by real life TAV`s, such as the SR-71 Blackbird. Ive had a lot of ideas for improvement so I might make variants or different styles of TAV and small fighters. Hi! Sorry for taking so long to reply, I`m having internet issues tonight, plus my posts in this thread seem to be awaiting approval from moderator.. Glad you like it. Its big, yes! 34 blocks long X 26 wide. It’s a good multi-purpose ship. You could use it to explore, or as squad delivery(although I know that wont work right now), or instead fit it out for combat. Ideally, Id close up the back entrance and put a hatch on the top. I will probably try making a variant. I have something in mind, if I can make it work well. As for a smaller one, I might do that but not sure. Whatever I do, Ill probably post a pic of it here eventually or upload blueprints.
Introducing my first CV, the NX-Peacemaker. Built completely in survival with the help of 2DollarHo and Jazz0411. It took a little over 3 weeks and is 101 blocks long. I can give other specifications if anyone is interested. It is a serious gas hog. View attachment 1523
My third large ship (first two was made in SE) Wanted to make it bigger but in the end it feel kinda "close spaced" inside.
how did you import this model into empyrion, when it was make in space engineers? empyrion is hardcoded at moment
Something I've been working on....Picture below might give a hint. Feel free to take a look. Lots more to come. I'll update when I can. CLICK ME!!! Spoiler SEE PAGE 6 FOR UPDATED PICS 8/31/2015
Here's my first GV I built today! It's supposed to be some type of speedy hover tank. I'm planning on using it as a sort of mobile starting base when I finally start playing survival mode. View attachment 1743

NOTE: All designed and built in survival mode. New to the game. Really enjoy playing with a heavy role-play style. Just thought I'd share my firsts. All have gone through many minor evolutions/improvements. Ship Classification Index G - Gunship S - Scout U - Utility X - Experimental 1) The U/S-44b Rhino: Crew: Pilot - 1 Max. Output: 1.20 MW Fuel Capacity: 200 Units Mass: 1.73 t Variant(s): I. X/S-44 (experimental) II. U/S-44a Hippo (unarmed) III. U/S-44b Rhino (armed - Gatling) My first was this little Ground Vessel class speeder. Built as a trainer to learn shipbuilding and piloting. The original version was a bit primitive compared to the current model which was improved for greater ground clearance and enhanced aesthetics as well as adding a Gatling Gun for self-defense and securing unfamiliar zones before disembarking. Now used as a simple scouting, transport, and hunting craft. An oxygen station and storage was added to extend its service range. It's long range and micro-sized frame make it a great choice for Speeder class craft though it is not fitted with refrigeration so it's best to travel with non-perishables or rations. Getting you from point-to-point, it's a fine tool for cutting a long fine line across almost any type of terrain. View attachment 1822 View attachment 1823 View attachment 1824 2) The U-107b Sloth: Crew: Pilot - 1 Ground Crew/Spotter - 1 Max. Output: 1.20 MW Fuel Capacity: 200 Units Mass: 4.29 t Variant(s): I. U-107 II. U-107a Sloth III. U-107b Sloth Initially conceived as a type of mobile mining derrick with ample lighting for night work, this Ground Vessel class craft was built as a lightweight frame sized to span drilled-out craters to make life a little easier and a lot brighter in the night. The suspended cabin is intended to improve pilot visibility below when maneuvering while staying up and away from the ground to maximize the usable work space for ground crew. Utilities (including oxygen resupply, constructor station, and an expansive refrigeration system) were added and it is now often used as a type of mobile base. It's less of a ship and more of a mobile structure with plenty of storage for materials, ores, tools, weapons, components, food, and other consumables. When not in use the generator is left on in standby mode to power only the refrigerators indicated by the blue status light signaling at a glance that the system is still running. This method uses only minuscule amounts of fuel providing a great means of storing ample food supplies for extended periods. The vehicle's broad base area provides an incredibly stable platform, but it also causes it to struggle when traversing uneven or steep terrain. Feet can be fitted with claws to grip rougher terrain or broader platforms for better weight distribution on softer soil. View attachment 1825 View attachment 1826 View attachment 1846 3) The U/G-82e Raven: Crew: Pilot - 1 Max. Output: 1.20 MW Fuel Capacity: 200 Units (400 for U/G-82e) Mass: 5.52 t (5.91 t for U/G-82e) Variants(s): I. U/G-82 II. U/G-82a (armed - Gatling) III. U/G-82b (armed - Gatling) IV. U/G-82c (armed - Gatling/Rocket) V. U/G-82d (hull/landing skit modification) Not the fastest nor the most maneuverable, but solid and durable. Intended primarily as a terrestrial exploration vehicle, it has been retrofitted with a Gattling Gun and later a Rocket Launcher. Early exploration missions quickly showed that although it could take a fair amount of damage without significant consequence, the Raven was deemed too vulnerable and the decision was made to arm the craft and upgrade the controls system for improved maneuverability. Though not quite a fully realized gunship, the Medium Armor protects the pilot when exploring and the Light-Medium Weapons capability allows it to adopt Counter-Offensive and Close Air Support roles as needed. Current uses include mapping new terrain, discovering mineral resources, exploration/scavenging missions, and neutralizing light armor targets. Considerations are being made to adapt future versions for shuttle/transport and light cargo duty by removing some or all utilities in place of passenger seating and/or cargo space. UPDATE: Thanks to recent advancements in modern shipbuilding technique, the Raven has undergone minor visual changes with major performance improvements. Focusing almost exclusively on the tail, modifications were made to the hull of the craft making for a slightly more streamlined and much more agile vessel. The leading edges of the tail assembly were molded to blend with the fuselage. This helped stiffen and support the tail allowing for minor weight reduction with the removal of the underside tail support truss. Although the tail lost a bit of weight, these reinforcements added 0.39 t to the overall mass of the vessel. Surprisingly, even with the added mass the Raven is now much more agile as this mass was shifted from the tail and moved closer to the center of gravity. Note: An additional fuel tank was added and the dorsal sensor array antennae has been upgraded with more powerful yet more compact components reducing the size of the fin.
