I would be surprised if your uploaded "sectors.yaml" even works because from "Cato" the information about the playfield folder to be used is missing?!?!?

Having trouble with the tool not picking the right biome for the deny fields: its picking the planet biome not the orbit to deny the pathway correctly could only correct things if i edited it without the program. Hello, So when i add a Deny Playfield to the EmpPlayfieldGenerator it posts from the looks of it the Planet name and not the Orbit name. When i apply this ingame the map has all the deny playfields still active but when i edit it by hand and enter in the orbit name it corrects it and applies the deny statement to the map. The Tool Enters into the playfield file Tool Entry: Deny: - Vraks Prime When I use this part and apply it to ingame, the game ignores the statement and applies the warp lines. My Entry: Deny: - Vraks Prime Orbit When I use this part and apply it to ingame, the game applies the statement and the warp lines are reduced. I like your tool so just reporting stuff as i see it. Hey, sorry but the screenshots are not there. Why don't you select the Orbit in the tool instead of the Planet if thats the problem?
it's not giving me the option to select the orbits only the planet playfield, unless it has no planet like a asteroid field then it will allow me to select it and appear on the list of selections.
Then you have the wrong Order. The order in which the planets/orbits have to be listed was changed in 8.0. You might want to look that up

Would be nice if there was a prompt before I delete a playfield reference from sectors.yaml It was very problematic when editing the map where I needed to remove allow/deny values and ended up deleting my planet reference from the sectors yaml, which mean I had to go in and manually add it back in again. This is because the focus of the application isn't directly to the allow/deny list, but the playfield itself, then clicking again brings it to the allow/deny list. So I must click once (to get to playfield window), click again (to get to allow/deny), and then hit delete to remove a reference to allow/deny. Also would be nice if you didn't let me add null values into allow/deny.
