Thanks for the update 1.02.0 - a couple of handy features - the settings dialog box with your path to sector and playfield is a nice addition. .
Hello, Got a problem with this tool. It dont read sectors.yaml correctly. Origin is for example : color: "0.5, 0.5, 0.5" Icon: "Kite" Playfields: - ["0, 0, 0" etc... After using your tool : color: 0, 0, 0 Icon: Kite Playfields: - ['0, 0, 0' etc... Your tool dont read colors and so, write incorrect things on sectors.yaml. It result that we can't see solar system on map. All disappears. They are here but very invisible. Where is the error ?
Hey, thanks for your report. The colors and other dropdowns in the header of a playfield sometimes need another refresh. Toggle the sector / playfield button on the right might help. Jascha is soon back so the work can go on (and the bug fixes ) RexXxuS
Hello, Thank you for your answer. I tested and no way. It surprise me that others didn't speak about this. Am I an alone case ???
I'm sorry if I missed it somewhere but I have an error. If I move Akua around in the playfield view, everything works OK and I can save. However, if I move Akua moon at all, the program comes up with an error when trying to save.
We will review this so you don't need "workarounds". As I said if you toggle the dropdown again the value should be saved correctly then. In which view are you while you saved the file? In playfield or sector view? Would be helpful if you attach also your log file so we can fix the bug. Thanks.
It doesn't matter what view actually. I first start off by moving out the default planets a bit, giving them some space. I save it and that works. I go into the Akua playfield and moved things around. If I move Akua, it saves. If I move the moon, the error comes up. If I switch to either the sector view or playfield view before saving, it comes up with the error. And which log file are you referring to?
Ok then please try: close EPG, start it again, load your saved work, and go directly to the playfield view and move the moon around. Does it work? Do you have a biome and name given on the left side? The log file is located where the EPG exe is.
Thank you for the replies. 1) I have done that several times. 2) Yes. Everything is named accordingly. It is defaulted anyway. 3) And there appears to be no log file.
Update: I reloaded the default "Sectors.yaml" file and tried again. I fired up EPG and clicked on Akua Playfield on the left. I moved the moon slightly and clicked the save button. It came up with error again. Thank you for the help and let me know if you need anything.
Ok, I reconstructed your case and sorry, for now tricky and will be fixed asap. Workaround: Start EPG, Click Load, Toggle for Akua Moon "start planet" on and off and move it around. You should be able to save then. Oh yeah, logs will be coming later too for such cases.
Yes, that was the problem. Something to do with the "start planet" coding. Thanks for the update and the workaround. Kinda shocked this hasn't been brought up yet. Thank you.

Hello, Thank you for your answer. Nothing changed. When i start tool, i click on bottom left on LOAD and colors stays to 0 0 0. If i save, it is same. It seems that structure is different and your tool seems to not support (ex:0.06) this format.
Hello, Curious, very curious. You can normally reproduce it with original Sectors.yaml. Mine is based like it. I join it in this topic. I use seven64 pro and and custom place of server files with steamapps.
