[TOOL] [DISCONTINUED] Emp Playfield Generator (EPG) - v1.06.x

Thats really wired. I tried it and it works just fine... I fear its a format-culture problem.
What culture setting do you have? (You can also just PM me or write us an EMail)

 

Hmmmmm, it is a thing that i have supposed.... I use "normally" french fr keyboard format.
should i try an other format to test ? What does mean "format-culture" ?


Yes, Playfield Generator shouldn't read my file correctly and so don't save it correctly.

 

I'll try to set a fix culture, otherwise it takes the windows cultrue and formats (like how to write dates, if he should use . or , for decimals...)

sorry for the long wait but as you might know our focus was more on the EAH tool. Nevertheless Jascha fixed some bugs and prepared it for the origins so you can create your universe again for 5.0!

In the coming weeks it comes down to either other guys building a project on top of this one (maybe) or we will continue working again in the playfield.yaml area. So you can also create custom planets. We let you know in what direction we will go but again in the coming weeks a bigger release regarding the EAH tool might come...

Maybe I'm dumb or just missed wherestrum or was addressed but how do you get the biomes loaded?

 

Hey, at the bottom left near the save button you have the reload biome button.

 

Done it....still nothing in the drop down biome menu.....what am i doing wrong here?

 

To load the Biomes you have to set the right configuration path.
Open the setting and set the second path to: *****\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Empyrion - Dedicated Server\Content\Playfields\

Thank you for update.
I can see that there is already color errors.

 

Can you send your sectors.yaml maybe? I did have this too after I mixed the versions. It is because some orbits don't have proper playfields. A recheck of every planet in the tool (double click in the input field) fixes the error.

Can you send me a screenshot of your left tool column please? I never had problems with the colors.

 

hi, i wanted to testdrive/evaluate the serverhelper program but my virus scanners Always remove it (the exe file) even if i say it is save. I use bullgard as virusscanner and i imagine i am not the only one with that problem. Is there a workaround for this isue?

It is already same problem tha i said above in this thread and already sent a sectors.yaml file.
All RGB are 0 and we think it is a different file concept.

Just double click on the numbers and set your desired color. You know how the color needs to be converted?

 

OK, if i understood, i have just to write it on your tool and it will be converted.
Your tool don't respect original format but it is compatible with server.

I want to use this program but am curious if you have solved saving problems and created better graphic routines? ... ie ... I used this once and it removed some sectors on me and I had to go to a backup. The updating of your graphics as you move around is also very slow.
