Hi guys, I cannot seem to get this tool to work on a scenario folder. It claims it can't find the sectors.yaml Here's the path: C:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\Common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Content\Scenarios\Universal Voodoo 2\Sectors I even went into the settings and cut/paste the path in. Also add a trailing backslash. No luck. Any idea why? And here's the settings in the xml, which seem to be correct: <Einstellung Game_Path="C:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\Common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Content\Scenarios\Universal Voodoo 2\" SectorsFile="C:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\Common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Content\Scenarios\Universal Voodoo 2\Sectors\" PlayfieldFolder="C:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\Common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Content\Scenarios\Universal Voodoo 2\Playfields\" />
Hey, SectorsFile needs to point to the Sector file not the folder. So for example: "...\Empyrion - Dedicated Server\Content\Sectors\Sectors.yaml"
I have a, hopefully, easy question. I'm trying to NOT have the lines show between planets that I have a "Deny" set. When I do the below.. save, and reload.. the lines are still there and you can still travel to those planets. What in the world am I doing wrong?
nvm...saw the error when i clicked front view...was like mount everest high from the rest brought it back to same level and it connected
Got it working ! great app, having 1 issue. I add a new playfield using a akua template in a separate playfield folder. I delete the hash and put a new seed number. In world I see the map screen has changed indeed but the terrain itself does not correspond with the map and still shows the default seed terrain. What am I doing wrong here ? Thanks in advance !
Hey, not sure you are in the right thread. This is about the EMP Playfield Generator which has not much to do with the playfield itself, but with the Sectors.
@Jascha Ty for a great program as usual. Can I offer two suggestions: 1. When you click the save button, give some kind of confirmation that it saved. We didn't know if it worked until we checked the file after clicking the save. A confirmation would alleviate that uncomfortable feeling you have that says it didn't work when it actually did 2. When you backup the sectors file, save a backup by date ie. sectors.yaml.20171005122011 We lost a few changes since, I won't name Dark Koreth's name to be at fault, but one of our admins clicked save several times not sure it worked. Somehow he deleted something and we didn't have a backup to compare to. I'd rather have 100 backups that I have to delete then none to restore from. Thanks for your time Jascha!
Just noticed that we already do that xD Check the tool folder. There is a backup folder which includes all backuped files (for each time saveing) in a Date-Folder
