I always wanted a tool to display the most relevant data of my singleplayer universe in a simple and concise form: all star systems I have explored, their distance from Ellyon (or any other star), all sectors and playfields (planets, moons, asteroid fields) with their relevant data... So I finally created this little program, called EGS Codex. It runs on Windows 10 or 11 and does exactly what I described above: - Shows a list of all star systems you have encountered (including the default mission systems) - For each system you see a list of sectors and playfields - For each playfield you find a lot of detailed information (resources, entities and many more). I tested it with my vanilla singleplayer survival save games; it will probably also work with creative mode games. Here is an example screenshot: Please note that EGS Codex is very new and currently in a beta state for testing. I am sure the program will still have issues and bugs - please feel free to give me feedback! (It runs fine on my computer, but who knows... ) You can download a zip file containing the tool here: https://dl.dropbox.com/scl/fi/q7ahs...p?rlkey=9jwqt7b7sb1h49g2s9xghlfj7&st=lnbfh04e Unpack the zip archive to any empty folder of your choice and run the file EGScodex.exe. At first, Windows will probably refuse to execute the file, because it does not know where it comes from. This is a standard security feature for unknown applications and can be overcome by clicking "More info" and then "Run anyway". After clicking on the "Select Save Game" button, EGS Codex will first ask you for the install path of Empyrion (this will be saved for the future). Then you'll see a list of all your saved games and can select one of them to fill the tables. Clicking on a star system will load its playfields in the upper right table. Clicking on a playfield loads the tables on the lower right. There is also a "Distance" column in the list of star systems. Use the dropbox to select a reference system.
