With our latest update, we’ve introduced a major quality-of-life improvement to interstellar travel: ✨ Warp Route Planner You can now plot multi-jump warp routes directly from the Galaxy Map — up to 500 LY — without manually hopping star-by-star. Plan long-distance travel in seconds, follow automatic waypoints, and let your HUD guide you from jump to jump. Key Features PLOT ROUTE button on the Galaxy Map Automatic waypoint generation based on your warp range One-click routes for single-jump targets Detailed confirmation for multi-jump routes (distance, waypoints, fuel cost) Waypoints shown as CYAN “Nav 1/N → Nav N/N” bookmarks HUD auto-advances to the next waypoint after each jump Cancel route calculation mid-process if needed CLEAR ROUTE button to remove active routes instantly Smart handling for long routes (auto-clamped at 500 LY) ⚠️ Things to Note There are a few cases where a full route may not be created: Target is beyond 500 LY (route will be clamped) Target is not reachable with your current warp drive Route calculation exceeds 30 seconds (timeout) In all cases, you’ll get a clear message explaining what happened — and often still have the option to use a partial route. We Want Your Feedback! This is a big step forward, and we want to refine it with your help. Please let us know: How intuitive does the system feel? Are the waypoints and HUD guidance clear? Is the fuel estimation helpful and accurate? Have you run into edge cases or confusing behavior? What would you improve or add? Drop your thoughts, suggestions, and any issues you encounter below Your feedback directly helps us improve the experience — especially for features like this that impact core gameplay. See you among the stars ✨
