Have you forgotten Plant Monsters?
Are the plant monsters still in the game? I've had the game since early alpha but didn't really play much until like alpha 10? and I've honestly never seen one. There's a lot of stuff that's in the game like POIs and I didn't realize they were there until I finally ran across them. It's part of the reason I watch other people stream.
They're still available but not used anymore.
Wow this game has come a long, long way...
Has it though? I loved the plant monsters and their ludicrous screams
Game just needs some consequences when you die. Spawning at your home BA or CV is ok, but anything other than that should cost money and/or resources.
Plant monster screams would scare the crap out of me if I didn't see them coming. They might not have been that fast, but they were tough and creepy.
That's a pity. The game needs more diversity in it's fauna/flora. It's not a major concern at this particular moment of course but it's something I'd like to see expanded eventually.
The critters move about very frantically and unnaturally now which I can only assume is part of the new AI. Makes combat more interesting (though Vermillion's RE already did something like this) but critters look more like they are bugging/glitching than looking for food. My seed also had far too many oviraptors running around and acted more like a rat swarm crawling all over my base. Great for food supply but can only assume this wasn't the intent.
Also ich wäre schon mal zufrieden, wenn Admins/Moderatoren sich in einen $NPC loggen und dessen Verhalten steuern könnten
Things I still want to see are flying creatures, creatures that live in the water (swimming), creatures that live underground, creatures that live in a hive of sorts. Other than just drone base attacks we would see hive attacks of some sort.
I agree with there being a creature asset steam workshop. It would be a great way to fill variety into a pretty large galaxy.
One the BEST "looking" "fear inducing" Creatures IMO, I miss it! (Especially in early game)
Hopefully Gone for good...that's a SciFi-Game...not Little Shop of Horrors.
Ich bin gegen das Abschaffen von Elementen, aber um die jeweiligen Geschmäcker bedienen zu können finde ich die Implementierung von "Schaltern" wünschenswert (und sind es ja auch zum Teil).
@Germanicus Und SiFi kann und darf durchaus als Horror empfunden werden, erst recht in Verknüpfung mit Survival.
I am against the abolition of elements, but to be able to serve the respective tastes I find the implementation of "switches" desirable (and are also partly).
@Germanicus and Sifi can and may well be perceived as horror, especially in linking with survival.
Its out of the Vanilla Game. If a Scenario Writer likes to add it again...its there.
Are the aggresive Bugs still considered prey?
AKA will the Talon be angry if you kill those in self defence in Talon teritiry?
If the Color of the nameplate is red they are Predators. If its light Blue/Aqua they are Prey.
The Alien Insect (little green fellow) is set to Predator now.
A long while ago I got killed by one of those SOB's about 10 seconds after I landed in the Escape Pod while I was in my inventory. LOL
Shotgun to the face everyone I see. Man, I hate those things.
