Just for a giggle I started a new vanilla game and crash landed on the planet. Didn't agree to do the tutorial OMG! I forgot how easy of a start that was. Had my shot gun and armor within 25 mins just picking stuff off the ground. I had so much food is was funny. Never mined anything. Even had plenty of spider meat.
Hard for me in the early days was living in a hole at night. Chain saw in hand. In the day I ventured out to collect much needed food and hunting for ore. Running from the drones and diving into my hole and with lots of rounds from my hand gun I would bring it down. Once I got a enough rock and could start building a mini vault to live in underground with a door I could close, away from the opening to the outside world. Now it's like walking through a shopping maul and picking up what you need. I'll have a bit of this and a bit of that.
I'll just say you know it's hard when I have to turn down the difficulty of the planet and I'm the one who made the planets so I know all the tricks to survive!
Today I traveled around my Star Systems in a search for Resources. Found unexpectedly 2 Medium Zascosium Deposits on a rather greenish glowing Moon. While in the next Sector 2 Zascosium Asteroids found their way into my Ore Boxes. Viewing from a nearby Trade Station
Found the so-called END of my Explorations...very sad...a whole Star System out of reach.... Well. gives me a bit time to play SWTOR after deleting all saves, clean Cashes and preparing for a HUUUUUUUUUUUGE Experimental Download
Today I went through my Workshop save and made sure that everything was saved as a blueprint. I have a sneaky suspicion that Alpha 12 will not be able to load it. Besides, I have been using that save since 9.0.3, it's about time I started over.
