I'd be very very suspicious of a Trap. For the Topic: Got more work done on my Alien POI Contest Entry & have almost all the Interior done... then suddenly realized I have some Lights I forgot to Paint somehow & get Paranoid & run through my whole Base to check all the Lights & find out I forgot to Paint a lot of the Lights I had deployed during past building in the last few days. >_< Fixed now, then while running through the whole Base making sure I hadn't missed anything else, I realize I had... hey, wait a minute, something's not right here... *Ponders a bit* I run through the Base a bit more... *Ponders a bit* Ok... umm... how do I get to a certain couple Sections again? I need to check them for errors too... *Runs around some more* Dammit, can't seem to remember the way, screw this! *Activates Godmode & Phases into the Wall* Ahh, there they are! How did I Path in & out again? *Examines the Pathing... & suddenly realizes these Sections couldn't be found because I somehow accidentally SEALED THEM OFF!!!* Thank Arceus it wasn't too hard to fix... but holy hell if this had gotten forgotten & Submitted with this kinda error of this kinda Magnitude still there... (Plus there was a couple more Lights-forgotten-to-be-Painted in there...)
I actually started playing the game. Not only that, I started playing the multiplayer side of things! :O So far I've ran backwards while shooting a plant monster, ran backwards while shooting an arachnid, ran backwards while shooting a spider, ran across the bottom of the ocean faster than I can swim it, and mined a bit of copper and magnesium. Oh and crashed the motorbike into the ocean, but that's The Law.

Working a midsize SV that uses the new large SV engines. It would be nice if SVs had gravity generators .
Tossed together a new Starter/Trainer/Interceptor/Light Fighter SV (depending what I want to do with it) called the SlamTek Thylacine. Armed with Gatling Guns and Rocket Launchers to show where intended weapon slots are, as well as to keep cost low for Survival games and such. Not the fastest or most heavily armored SV by a long shot, but should prove to fill a small gap in my current SV lineup (or at least to help provide choice to RGC pilots). Well... IF, & I repeat, IF, this Waffle House is actually Legit & not a trap after all, a Pizza House to accompany it could rock as well. For the Topic: Dammit, in past Posts I meant to say this, & forgot to... During checking out of new stuff I did before I also took those Wings with the Ends that keep looking like they're built to have stuff stuck onto them & tried a Jet Engine on them directly on the Center blocks of the Jet Engine... I searched carefully... & was disappointed that the Wing & the Jet Thruster have a small little gap between them & do not connect to each other well. Epic Fail on the Aesthetics Department imho. Lucky me the Aesthetics Department is not my go-to place of choice... my condolences to the rest of ya, including Slam, though. Also, sometime after this Alien Contest POI Entry, I have future planned Mad Empyrion Science of attempting a SV Build that will attempt to have at least a few Externally Intended Jet Thrusters on the INSIDE of the SV Hull! *Insert Twisted Evil Emote here* Stuff Breaking Alpha Testers gotta stuff break! Screw the inside of the Box!
Second quick project, added additional hanger doors to the HPOD Base Model and Humpback so you do not have to turn your ship around to get out.
Most of the Inside of my Alien POI Contest Entry is now done. Last remaining part of the Inside: the Ship Hangar... then it'll be time to build its External area & Turret it up... Also still doing preliminary Plotting & Scheming on the future Asymm HV & Internalized External-Intended Jet Thrusters SV.
I walked half way around Akua to my base. After taking out the defenses of an Epsilon fort I spotted a nearby drone base and though my SV was damaged I impetuously decided to attack that as well. Took out the defenses although my SV was further damaged though still flyable. So far, so good - except that a cannon drone shot my SV to pieces while I was in the drone base clearing out the defenders. DOH! I'd still be walking if Akua was any bigger. Next time I'll spawn a mini base with flak cannon when I have to park the SV.
Next time, pack one of these in your factory and plop it outside where you parked: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=740672568 I mention this instead of a 'mini base' because these you can actually spawn right on top of POI lol, and cost very little (due to small blocks, not large).
I built something similar with a flak cannon early on for POI assaults. Spawn and POI defenses were trashed in a few bursts. I stopped using it because it would shoot the POI to pieces in short order if you weren't careful. Guess I'll resurrect the thing.
