When my GF and I first started playing together, and were finally ready to leave Akua, we ended up picking Ningues for our next stop. The resource-poor iceball turned out to be something of a disappointment, albeit a very pretty one, and we didn't do much beyond shutting down the drone base and a few nearby POIs that liked taking pot-shots at us. However, it did yield a pretty nifty mountain-side base, which we titled Elysium. I went back today and retrieved it, to see if there was any hope of turning it into a functional BP. Setting aside the post-4.0 nuisance of switching block sizes and fixing invalid windows, the back view there illustrates why I don't try uploading bases built in situ. What an absolute mess! And mind you, this is after having done a little cleanup already. This was Elysium in its original place: Still, there are a number of elements from it I particularly like (Control tower and communications pylon among them). Hopefully I can salvage it all into some kind of functional stand-alone BP.
Holy buggers!!! Ya made that weird Yellow actually work! I didn't know that was possible! Every Star Wars Server player is bound to want 10 of these! Heheh this Comment gets me curious what @MechPilot524 would think. (He's Blue Team's Leader.) For Posting large amounts of Images, sticking them inside a Spoiler Tag can be a good trick. This makes the Posted Pics not Load till the Spoiler Tag is Opened thus making Image Loading work for a Computer much more 'bite sized' & munchable.
So, this became a thing! Yeah, that's a super-chibi-Leviathan.... not sure what we're going to do with it but it sure looks cute! and then this happened.... we call this Mephception.... Kawaii!! They're not much use without ripping the innards out and replacing them, but they do make a rather nice "compressed" lineup! more to come.... probably.
Finally turned off the game music and started playing Star Trek suite with all the music from the whole TNG series. Once you turn off the game music and play your own you start to enjoy the game a lot more. Built a new warp core for my CV Built a new SV
I think the smaller one is a Micro CV fitting in the largest Hangar Bay Door Double Size. Also... *Shameless nab of the Tiger Pic*
Built a solo exploration ship for myself. Unlock 15, very cheap. Absolutely no combat capacity what so ever, with a small hangar for an ultralight SV. Capable of planetary landing and takeoff, lots of cargo space.
Don't worry, all will become clear Nope. You can actually use some .area file copy magic to copy the contents of one ship to another. That other ship can just be a starter of any kind. Thus you can clone a large block ship to a small block ship, or a hover vehicle, or a base, or ANY combination of the above. cool aint it? there are downsides, you can't re-blueprint them, or you can, but you can't spawn them at all. You have to remove every single large block and device, then replace the core, then use replaceblocks to replace the large armour blocks with small blocks. Then you can spawn a blueprint of it. This however can leave you with a nice hull in the shape of the original, for rebuild/redesign/repurposing, so there's some silver linings. We've not tried taking one into combat, although I don't see why that's not possible. Tonight we were mostly busy digging a big* hole Have fun *you know us, we like big, and we like digging holes.
Introducing, Omega. A big fun ship that is sure to wow. With the hover engines located in neat recesses, a decent speed, low key but predatory color job, and decent armament; this hover craft is stompingly powerful - has plenty of room for more guns if that is your thing. Definitely not for PVP - but it could arranged to be with some additions. Steam Link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=807169944 Enjoy!
As a side note, every time I drop into the cockpit of my Space:1999 Eagle, and head off to the moon... I am extra bonus thankful that this game exists. Thanks, Eleon Devs! --B.
I know that Kieve just linked workshop post via the word, "Torment," but just in case you missed it, here it is again: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=806456717 One of the best designs I have seen. Do yourself a favor and do not just look at the screen shots, but actually spawn it in creative - the detailing is ridiculous! She did not use wings as, well, wings - but as layers of the ship. Very innovative. Also includes some of the new blocks and engine models.
Introducing, Light cycle. I wanted to make the Workshop's cheapest HV(in addition to a super cheap HV for my own collection,) but I also wanted it to be something that thrilled! Enter Light-cycle. Painfully cheap and with a spawn time less than most starter BA's. Use this HV to get you to that Akua titan wreck section you had always dreamed of possessing in the early game! I'm lookin at you @Scoob Definitely not for Combat PVP - but is very useful for multiplayer - gives a nice quick start vehicle in case you need one. About half way through building this I realized that the thought that had been bouncing aroudn in my head - "Light cycle sounds familiar somehow.... wait, wait... where do I know that from?" Tron! So that was not my intention, but it works well enough for that role. Steam Link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=807243730 Anywho, I hope you enjoy it!
Last one for the evening; Introducing, Odd. A super cheap, and accessible starter HV. Level 5 requirements, 3 minigun turrets, little touch of everything you might need in terms of storage. SUPER fast and maneuverable. An ode to the members of society that everyone knows and that are considered a little... odd. Not many realize that they are the most important parts - we would, as a species, collapse without them. Here's to you awesome people! Not for PVP.
