Oh, just go for it! At this point - you've way past point of no return, it doesn't really matter anymore if its 230.000 or 330.000. Setup a planet & moonwide network of T3 autominers and go some old fashion POI dismantling and HV mining to pass the time - and you've got that covered in reasonable amount of time Just remember that components save A LOT of time on the blueprint - don't want to be using just ingots and waiting 30+ hours... Just build a billion T3 generators or somesuch.
Well the funny part is, it's yellow until I put on my medium or heavy armor then it starts looking gold. I don' t know why that is but I'm not complaining . I think it it's awesome. I'm starting to think it was the type of yellow I selected from the player options but I'm not sure. but if i take my armor off then you can tell its yellow.
Oh, I intend to @rainyday - but I'm also still in need of a capable intermediate ship. Previously I've built nothing but starters - though now those are all in need of serious redesign, with thrusters and reactors cooking the interior and lack of airtightness. So much to build, so, so little time. Every time I'm on this forum in the morning I'm almost late for work.
I have no idea why this TV show popped in my head while I was putting on my armor. lol Some one seriously needs to build the Megazord in this game.
Yes. LOL If I'm going to have this silly song stuck in my head today then I'm not going to be the only one. lol
Introducing, Mistral 2.0 A level 5 survival HV. Very fast, cheap, armed with 3 miniguns, plenty of storage, and an excellent sniping gunnery platform, Mistral meets every requirement your early game questing needs. Is also eminently suitable for upgrade to turrets or mining for mid to late game use. I have been going back through some of my older designs and reworking them where I can - with Mistral, one of my favorite go-to HV's, I kept adding and adding. I eventually realized that while some of the original design still existed, I had really upgraded things. So I went for a 2.0. Ignore the screen with the thrust values - some of the info is bugged... It is somewhat useful, just take the info with a grain of salt. Steam link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=909005252 Enjoy!
I am not too proud to do it; huddled on my pgen during the night in a cave on Masperon to keep my temps in the "survivable" range. Gotta wait till the morning....
My hard drive died last week (may it rest in peace). I've been rebuilding my blueprints, thankfully i've built and rebuilt my corvette cv so many times now that it wasn't hard to recreate. Just need to rebuild my fighter and shuttle and i'll be ready to continue waiting for a reason to use them.
Might be good idea to put them to Workshop - just set them to private If you don't want to share them with others.
I quite like the new lvl 3 prefab HV - it's unique and has lots of style for the low resource cost. Inspired by that, I wanted to update my own starter HV to 6.0 too. - - - - - - I made this originally back when I made the Sampo mining CV. I wanted something in the same style - cheap on resources, but still something that looks like a vessel and not just pile-o-parts. It originally had turret and lights, but I wanted to update it to being even cheaper and accessible at LVL3. You can easily add spotlight, gatling gun, turrets etc. when you have access to them. One storage box as I think big deal in starter vessels is that you can carry all that sweet loot home to you Basic open topped version - and one with closed cockpit and oxygen for hostile environments. Polaris Space Industries PH-1A 'Aino' (open cockpit) and PH-1B 'Aino' (closed cockpit)
Thanks @binhthuy71 and @Ballard ! And @GTv for pointing out the obvious They are certainly built to be disposable. Speaking of death traps - I went through my other old BP's and found my first ever vessel I built for Empyrion. Rapier Mk.II hoverbike Mark II because Mark I didn't have any side thrusters Hey, I didn't knew we needed them! Well, it kinda did work but was quite a handful trying to maneuver. It went OK in a straight line I wanted to update this too, as I was quite happy with it. And still am I guess as I found surprisingly little to adjust. Some minor tweaks under the hood and updated the colour scheme to fit my new faction 'Raido Corporation'. They are bunch of mercenaries that double as a space pirates when not hired by a faction to do their dirty jobs. They take what they need, when they need it. Will be publishing a line of vessels for them just as I have done for 'PSI - Polaris Space Industries' previously. Raido Corporation Rapier Mk.III Rapier is a fast hoverbike used for scouting and small raids on civilian settlements. It's jump-capable and is able to carry one person in addition to the pilot. Rapiers are used by Raido Corporation also as a personal transportation on less hostile planets. Armed with gatling gun, Rapier can defend itself against indigenous life forms and drones.
Heck, I build small CV's and SV's that are better at running away than they are at fighting. None of my designs would last ten minutes in MP.
