That is SOO AWESOME!!! I would put a turret that and raid a base with it. lol You can blow a hole in one of the POIs drive it inside the base.
My second attempt at a small CV. I still have to finish the interior but I finally got a Class 1 ship BUT you can only use the constructor from the control panel because the room the constructor is in is small and extremely hot. Like 190 degrees hot and the warp drive is on the outside of the ship.

Yep! Nive stats!! One Good Fighter that is! ;-) (For some such stats doesn't matter, but to can hover and dodge any incoming shots (lateral accel) while maintaining the target in the crosshairs for continuous fire with only minimal mouse movement (Pitch/YaW !!) is important for a good POI/PV/Carrier Attack craft! - And... not to forget the FUN to fly such a ship!!)
It was soooooooooooooo nice to be back in the game yesterday!!! I passed some of my gaming time doing little chores like gardening and making sure there's way more food than any of us can really eat--that totally justifies the Mammoth Pumpkin Cookies I keep making. Afterward, I did a lot of work on the CV, but not all in one place--just sort of everywhere. I finally managed to oxygenate the bedrooms and bathrooms in the crew quarters I wasn't sure if I could, and tearing them out completely just didn't feel right. So here's my final result. It's no longer properly feng shui like it used to be and I was forced to cheat the air flow in the bathroom with a fake wall-like replacement. But at least it works!! At the end of the day, I think it's probably better feng shui to be able to breathe in the room After that, I finally had an idea of what to do in this one room, just off from the lower hangar. This room has given me grief since the day I saw it. It's 16 X 3, if I recall correctly. It turned out to be the only place I could fit a Repair Station, so I wanted to make it like a garage where extra tools and equipment for vessels can be stored. There are 2 decontamination showers incase work in the hangar gets a bit hot (it's an open garage for HVs and large SVs.) I have so many other areas to do, but today I promised to give a different ship some love in Creative Mode so we can start building it tonight in game. Yay, another ship to decorate on the fly! It is fun, but I have to live with all the ugliness and walk through rooms where I was just vandalizing the walls.
I think this is as small as I'm going to get and feel comfortable at the sametime . lol So a Class 1 Mid size CV might be a better title... So it's back to playing survival while I plan my next Giant CV.. I want to see how much this game can take so I am going to try to build a class 50 ship. lol I don't know if a class 50 is possible but I am going to try it. Hopefully by the time I finish the devs will have added the Large planets in the game and maybe one or two extra solar systems because I know it's going to take me a long time to build it and plus with a ship that size I am going to need room to fly it. lol

Is it possible to create a fast timer circuit to cycle the door to keep it open every time it attempts to close ?
Right you are, rucky. Actually she doesn't have the greatest speed stats, like some folks nowadays are getting with the big jets. But, until they adjust the weight/maneuverability ratio, I generally go crazy with the RCSs. I really hate dragging the mouse repeatedly to turn around.
