Not one single in the Workshop... I have to look at how to do this though! I'll check this. In the meantime, I may put a link for a zipped file with some blueprints of SVs and CVs I made, for those who are interested.
Hunh, never knew they offered that much HP for less weight. Also I don't know, aesthetically speaking I do like how your farm ends up looking with the shutter windows
I think if you select it in the blueprint menu there's a honking big 'Publish' button on it, where the 'To Factory' stuff is as well. That'll put it on the workshop in private mode, then you have to log in on steam and look at your workshop items to add a description and make it public.
Known Bug, still awaiting fixes. Also may not be a bad idea to check your Turret Settings for every single Turret just in case. Sometimes Turret Setting Changes bug & fail to stay saved as well. Base Repair Bay says "Hi.". When I press the Publish Button, it's always given me a Pop Up Window letting me select between "Private", "Friends", & "Public". Private is the Default one.
Here is a link with a zipped file containing blueprints for 2 CVs and 3 SVs I showed on the forums lately ("Fishing pole" and "SpeedyCamper" CVs, the Pink and Green SVs and one tiny infiltration SV that fits in corridors), plus 1 HV used as a mini-tank; I did not focus much on mobility but it's not too bad, and it is small and low profile, fully equipped. It gets the job done but carrying a few spare spotlights is a sound precaution. https://www.mediafire.com/?mp2gy088dzl1x0f Just "unzip" this file in the blueprints directory. Here is the HV picture : Just a warning : the 2 CVs don't have "landing pads" and "hover" at 2 meters from the ground, because their underbelly is covered with upside-down shutter windows. And since bases don't move, landing pads are not really needed but can be added temporarily for repairs and taken off after.
I guess I could make a blueprint of some kind of "portable base" I could spawn anywhere, just a big cube to land on top with a repair block on it. But for 1% damage that's not worth it of course, and if I'm far from my base than too bad for scratches on the paint.
Inactive thrusters should really get cold after some time. Makes no sense that the temp goes at 200+ standing besides a sleeping machine. I wouldn't want to be the maintenance guy...
Blueprint Sorcery! Our Chibi-Fleet is progressing nicely! Mwaa *rubs hands together in a sinister fashion*
** WARNING ** ** PICTURE-HEAVY POST INCOMING!!! ** Today I wanted to work on my "bigger" CV (my bigger is relatively small in most eyes here ;-) haha)... but.... couldn't put myself together for that... so... I decided to make another trip to the Moon; this time with a fully laden *) Mining-CV and a newly build small Moon-Outpost in the Factory... *) With fully laden I mean this: - My Mining-Base (CV), - bottom-attached Mining-Modul (HV), - left side-attached small Scout (closed SkyRocketSled)(SV) - right side a Defense-Turret-Pod (HV) - back (not seen here) attached super-tiny Scout (open SkyRocketSled)(SV) - and on top the attached DroneHunter MKII (SV) That's some compact Force isn't it?! ;-) Now let's find some good landing position on the Moon (here the back with the open SV is shown) this place is ideal Now placing my new Moon-Outpost: The right "landing pad" seems a bit strange, doesn't it?! it's because of my MiningMachine needs some special docking clamps ;-) Now Base is fully operational, Defense-Turret activated, Fighter on standard landing pad, we're ready Let's see how's the Base going - Some 9 Growing plots - a working area with... ...Advanced Constructor, Repair, 4 Cargo boxes, O2 Generator, Ventilator, Food processor and 2 Fridges (Armor Locker and Medic station seen in the back in the above picture) - Some rest area with Couch and TV - Private room with Bed, Toilet and Shower - And in the basement the tech room/machinery But I'm not sure how long I'll stay here, as most POIs are already cleared. I think.... till I finish this "BIG" CV (should be class 3 or 4.... haha...) It's not the money (ressources)... I could spawn the Earthshine right in... But for me small ships are just... more practicable... ;-)
@rucky - Waaa... I love this ! This is the kind of "next gen NASA" stuff that I hope to see in the next decade or two ! The 5th picture could be NASA's "future project to Ganymede" rendered by their home artist.
@rucky thats really cool stuff, I like how all the small pieces work together And @Kassonnade thats really funny stuff - - - - - - We had quite eventful night. Some of it was because of the gameplay, some of it was because of our actions - and some of it was because of glitches and stuff. But it all merged into one crazy action packed night of Empyrion. Leaving Ningues for our expedition to Aitis. Arriving at Aitis. Navigating thru the asteroid field. Kivutar following my lead. We completely annhilated a space drone base (I say we, but it was really Kivutar and it's crew ). Displayed here is a tiny portion of the drones destroyed. Finally on Aitis. Beaufiful - but it can be deceiving. VERY hostile planet. While on Aitis, we had two goals - gather up rare resources (erestrum, sathium and GOLD!) - and save a mining HV left over from a previous trip. Now, Aitis is really rough on your vessels - they might fly and operate fine on Ningues for example, but Aitis is completely different beast. My starter SV for example struggles to even get off the ground. High gravity is also really hard for HV's - but also your own movement. You want heavy armour with insulation boosters because of the heat and radiation but then your jump pack does literally nothing... its rough, I tell you But I like it. There's no one solution to shield you from the hostile environment - you have to make choices whether you want protection or mobility. Anyway, we managed to pull the HV out, Kivutar looming and watching over us. Well then, things started to go crazy after that. Not many photos because let me just say we were busy We had a craving for gold so we hopped into SV's and looked a deposit that wasn't right next to a drone base. Started mining with drones, got surprise attacked by Alien Overseer - not good. Timo said its better he will stand guard as I mined - and it was literally 5 seconds later than the screaming started. I got off from my drone and was greeted by a huge patrol vessel creeping up the hill, facing directly towards us and starting to open fire. It was a scary sight! We ran back to our CV and prepared for a combat. Big combat ensued, some glitching and stuff. It ended PV being dragged to the water tail first but still operational. My SV got blasted from the skies as I made contact with the PV and somehow flew thru it. Apart from couple of thrusters and generator - EVERY device in my SV exploded to pieces and I crash landed on the lake. That was some scary moment too Navigating thru uneven terrain, tryin to land, trying to find a good spot your CV, dealing with patrol vessel, dealing with some lag and glitching - it was a hot hectic mess but I wouldn't trade it for nothing Anyway, we ran back to orbit as we were burning fuel like crazy and not getting anywhere. Regroup, stock up and we will go back and get our gold!
Today I finished off and uploaded a villa I was making. well like the loading screen says "build yourself a fancy home" I finally did.. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=960916506
