I will applause the most mature of the two who will simply move forward. But that's just me, another "artist" with his own very modest "moments of genius" and mostly keeping those to myself. Because everything is just vanity under the sun, said the Ecclesiastes....
TODAY IN EMPYRION I DID/WENT/KILLED/BUILT...... That’s the topic yeah? Let’s stick to it yeah? Anything else do it in the appropriate thread or a PM please.
It's actually not all that difficult - just part of the way the forum handles nested [url/][img/] tags. It was a trick that started becoming popular on the Empire Minecraft server boards, and I just carried it over here.
Couldn't quite get it working, but got something that looks decent and is "functional" enough so I'm happy. It will serve it's purpose of providing cross-traffic and advertising (RP) opportunities! ^^
Here ya go. I have almost completely re-done @FuzzBuzzPutty 's research site and am turning it into a new abandoned building for the game. This is just a taste to wet your appetites: Imagine: Caverns, Golems, fast alien bugs, awesome stories on LCD's, and HV PARTICIPATION! Thats right, bring your favorite raider WITH you. No more leaving it parked on the top or sides of structures. Be afraid.
Not bad, but the trick is to cut the image into chunks Also, for anything with a transparency, save as .PNG and leave the background layer empty/blank. (not solid color, but legit empty). - - Then wrap each piece in the desired URL, like so: Code: And the result... Yours will probably look much better, since I used your JPG for that, and high compression = lots of pixelation and artifacts.
So much for art, here's Killdozer II. Airtight cockpit, 10m/s, lvl 7. The new texture was the finishing touch.
I want to thank @Siege Inc. for his awesome 8-bit dreams. Is helping me with a place to start. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=779372963
@Fractalite STAHP! I’m still to find your factory (getting bored again) after restarting repeatedly. The factory still has me twitching.
My WIP....... finished... err.....maybe I'm not 100% on every feature particularly the internal fit out.... I think I was at the back of the queue when those brain cells we administered The Bridge.... Main Hanger...... The Stats... EGS forever... hopefully...
@malrose1 Excellent work! The detailing of the outer hull makes the ship look even bigger than it already is.
Yeah that's on my list of things to update in the near future after I get done updating the Millennium Falcon.
I'm still in bad mood, nevertheless, I have finally my Crew onboard my Capital Ship. Did cost me a fortune, nevertheless, I'm not alone anymore...
Cheers, that code did the trick. My 2ndary guess was right; that your sig was 2 images. However when I tried that myself I ended up with the correct hyperlinked image effect but it insisted in doing one image per line. I was going to resize it smaller but then it losts too much detail. I'd make it full transparent, but to clean up my messy workmethod would involve a LOT more pixel editing/touching up, and the forum's background isn't customizable so this is fine for now. All hail the Kieve! Within 3 seconds of reading the information of this lads Hangar I knew he was the same type of madman as me. I'll have to give him a prod one day I'm also feeling quite salty currently; I *just* realised my free image editing software has all the tools on hotkeys, so my efforts could have been a lot faster. I spent a LOT of time tweaking things, so it's click selection/move selection. Select/adjust area. Click move selection. Move selection. Then repeat. Discovered that B toggles between the modes, so that's Whole load less moving n clicking of mouse.
