No OC, have not run any stress test's but it has run far more intensive games without issue, e.g. The division on max, BF4 on max, The Forest on Max etc. But will definitely run p95 for a few hours to test, not ruling out that is a GPU issue, least I can get an RMA if it is the problem< only had the card for a month or so.
Today I modified my solar system. I added 2 new planets, added a new planet type: Temperate 3, Moon 2 - desert moon and Moon3 -lava moon. I added one planet with 3 moons; one lava moon, one dessert moon, and one regular moon. The other planet, with a moon3 - lava moon. I run these on my dedicated server to play with my wife. I have to say it's pretty cool. I made these new planets more difficult by adding more enemy bases and drones, as well as adding several more hostile types of life forms (already existing in the game) I also made the planet with 3 moons a new starting point for new games, basically a new more difficult starting point, which I have not actually tried starting on yet but I am sure it will be highly challenging.
LOL I was hoping you would know! I've not actually looked into how to do this yet, as I try to run things vanilla for bug reporting purposes... but you talked so highly of what you made, I got interested in the notion
Haha I was doing the same until the past couple days, then I found out you could modify the files. I haven't done that with a game in a couple years, but it's pretty cool
Today I learned you can run over your own missiles, and took down about 6 blueprints from the workshop for retro-fit haha. Didn't answer the situation I had with the original bug report, but certainly explained why some targets "took more hits" than others . I also had one of those really intense fights that sometimes happen where 3 drone patrols happen across you "randomly" while you're mining. Didn't get much ore but I certainly limped home with a bunch of components.
Make a Post then use the "More Options Button", then in this new Window ya can use the "Upload a File Button". If the Config doesn't show up as something ya can Upload, ya might have to Zip it up first with a File Zipping Program of choice. I personally use 7zip. Hope this helped.
OK Here are the playfield and sector files I made, hopefully that is enough because the other files are too big to upload. P.S. Always backup your game files before adding changes.
My latest going ons: I've drilled so much Rock out of my future home that ya'all are gonna think i'm Glitched in the Head. I have gotten enough space cleared to begin the building of the Base itself, but it's highly likely i'll have more Rock to drill later. Us GMTs have so much Rock Dust from this now that i'm periodically setting it to Craft into Cement just to halve the space it's taking up... literally. (Takes 2 Rock Dust to make 1 Cement, so the Cement's equivalent of Rock Dust really does take literally half the Storage.) It'd be hilarious if it was possible to Airdrop a ton of Cement bags into the Oceans of one's Enemies to turn a ton of their Ocean into a big blob of ugly conglomerated Concrete.
I am experiencing am issue where I keep wanting to start over. I'm weird. :/ and it's not very conducive to building projects.
Have about 12000 unrefined rock dust. Had to do it twice because of the terrain BUG. Thought this Bug was fixed.
Today I designed several trade outposts for HWS EU server. The outposts are meant to facilitate trade throughout the solar system. The idea is to have a public outpost on a desired planet which would contain a single cargo box for item exchange. At the moment 3 trade outposts are finished based on their elemental habitat-planet type: Temperate: Desert: Snow/Ice:
Me too. Ya Bug Report this yet? Also, maybe we could sell Concrete Blocks to the non-Main Factions, like DUI?
I ... did.... NUFFIN!.... cleaned up mah PC.... both software, and its physicals.... inside.... trust me, the latter, ended up with me almost barfing
Ouchers... I know how that feels, trying to remember the Computer Maintenance can be a hell of a problem. I commenced more work on my CV trying to get it finally done... alas, still a bit left to do on it, though i'd call it roughly 90ish% done. Holy buggers CV Building can really melt the Brainz... >_< Many times I was working on it then was dissatisfied with how something was turning out & I had to rip it back out & try something else. Also, getting enough Fuel Tanks & Generators onto these things to keep the thing powered is hell, & trying to have enough of them AND try to have enough Armor between them... Damn, how is anyone supposed to pull this off without getting things too heavy & having THAT provoke the need for more Fuel Tanks & Generators in a vicious circle? Nonetheless, things are shapin up. During my takin her for test spins trying to determine how she was handlin & if she had enough Generators & such, I looked on the Map & noticed to my amusement...: Spoiler: Wow, that's pretty far outta one's CV to stick out! XD Almost done... almost... but then I just had to give it a rest before I melted & fried my Brain just short of the Finish Line... then I still have to hope she works in live use on the Red vs Blue Server someday... I also did that final tweak to my Tyrax Dragonet where I moved her Spare Parts Boxes over a little, fixed the Paint Job to accommodate the tweak, & now consider her a 110% finished Build! ^_^
Today, a new air superiority fighter series was built and constructed by the Blue Nova Syndicate. Thanks to Eleon for making the awesome new fighter cockpit, it's much easier to build fighters with Cockpit 9 than it is with Cockpit 4! This series is the Piranha series. It's somewhat large for a fighter, though it does have a very flat profile. Being an air superiority fighter, it's fairly well armed and designed with orbital combat in mind - namely, it is optimized to maneuver in zero gravity and also boasts a healthy oxygen store. It is designed to operate out of existing Blue Navy carriers as well as an upcoming, classified new carrier series, but is not meant to operate out of vessels such as the Barracuda-class assault destroyers, or any of our prototype Light Surface Landing vessels. Local air superiority on a readily-deployable basis will be taken care of by a smaller class, perhaps modified directly from the Piranha.
