I wished I knew but some guy did it with Star Trek ships and uploaded the models the on the workshop.
I've been keeping this mostly under wraps for a while now, but with Synthesis finally showing some real progress, maybe it's time to share a little. So here we have the Soleil NXT, first product of the Synthesis project: The NXT (on the right) is quite a bit bigger than her LXS counterpart, and pure combat steel. Since Armored windows are too thick for my liking, the exterior cockpit glass is the weak 'regular' variety, but is reinforced from behind with a secondary layer of Armored - thus, exterior can keep the sleek look, and the pilot/passengers remain protected. While not intended as a 'combat' vessel, I've had some issues in the past with the SE/LXS models being a little too vulnerable to POI fire - the NXT should be able to shrug off more than a few salvos before feeling the damage. Of course, inside is where the real magic lies. While the NXT chassis alone is a fully-functional CV in its own right, Synthesis is all about taking form and function to a new level. CV-scale utilities like the Repair Station, Adv. Constructor, medic station & 'useful' deco scanners - all blending seamlessly with SV-scale utilities, lighting/sensors, and block details. The biggest challenge so far has been designing and aligning everything such that the SV component of this assembly will merge easily and seamlessly with the parent vessel. I have the 'seamless' part down, but 'easily' is still under refinement. While there are a number of designs already on the workshop (mobile fridges, storage, and the like) that are designed to blend into a CV, they generally include removing blocks in order to make room and position things correctly - not an option in this case.
Well buggers... Was goin along alright for my new CV Build then encountered a problem with how I was going about its Build that's gonna have to make me start it over again except with my plan for how it was goin rotated 90 degrees from how I was doin it before. >_<
just finished my first basestar using server settings on guns and size class 6 most armored up ship ive ever done, 5 layers of combat steel L around the core and bridge
This perfectly sums up using SVs as part of CVs. If you ever find a trick that does it tag me. Like 15 times so I can't miss it. I'll get you some fresh caught north sea cod as a reward!
Hello friends I finish this house right now in the new version of the game... That's why it's already equipped with solar panels ... That's why I like it (hot water heating)... in my workshop it will be as soon as ready It was about the atmosphere of the cottage ... it also has a cellar The cellar is relatively small so it will not be necessary to dig the earth when you bet it
the BSG basestar pvp ship is now public http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1242843904
Since you asked. The link to the steam page with the shape generator on it Dude's Git-hub with files and instructions. Read the Instructions and follow them EXACTLY. Otherwise it will frustrate you horribly.
Thanks, and not yet- have some cleanup to do on it yet. The docked SV is here, but I need to update the public version of that also
Now that... is some epic cool Sci-Fi thinking... May the coolness of your Ship cut through the evil Death Cube Meta like a Great Axe through a Sword's sorry ass. Fixed.
My ISP said they'll send a technician on the 28th or 29th so maybe I'll be able to post the PVP CV guide I promised a few weeks ago in 2017! Already prepping example ships and wanted to make a quick and simple example for staggered turret placement but I might have overdone it: The quick and simple part just went out off the window at some point...
