What did you do in Empyrion today?

Part of the fun of "doing it the wrong way" is experiencing just what happens when the engine damage features are added to the game.

I have a row of various ships all lined up in a creative savegame that all have varying degrees of 'do not do this with engines!'

But I don't find a good name for this SV. And "little brown guy" is not an option. :/

 

Progress update on orbital station - built an oxygen storage room beneath the main elevator/ventilation shaft. From here it will lead to the last four sections of the station:
I'm thinking of postponing the further texturizing at the moment until the implementation of 2.0 - I saw the textures should be reverted back to original non-dark.

I started my mass production of rations after nuking out akua's moon. Ghost riders are now actual ghosts, and my ship had some tweaks (mmmhh... sweet artillery). I refitted the Falcon from the crative Akua to fit my needs, and now it became pretty much overpowered xD. Tears through enemies in no time, it's agile, but if it takes even three or four shots probably something important gets hit, in fact i lost my fuel tabk while trying to destroy the drone base turrets. The laser punched through the first armor layer and destroyed the fuel tabk, luckily i had spares with me and placed another one, then i finished the work. Got soooo much loot...

 

Doors.... like hangars doors ?

 

You can get a pre-empt, by duping your current egs folder, then switch to experimental to get steam to download that build. Then swap them back. You can run the dupe without affecting the core build.

That base center you got there is gorgeous, and I'm sure it will really POP in 2.0.... I've been seeing some very nice texture enhancements and lighting in general in 2.0.

Fragile Speedster eh? Glad to hear that ability to get through the game with a variety of strategies is working thus far.

 

Probably me... I mentioned it in the new experimental build thread, that to me it looks like many of the muddy black textures are now very metalic and brighter than 1.7 is.

 

Oh! I forgot about that Thread. I oughta find it & set it to 'Watch'! Many thanks for the info!

 

Textures are only a little better. Not back to were they once we're.

 

What seed is that?

 

It was a random seed. But I will look in the file. Lots of good loot right of the start.

 

Did they mistake you for a God & start Worshiping you?

 

Yes they greeted me with a 3 Drone salute.
It was funny too. I was running around trying to hide and the drones were blowing the temple up.

 

& I bet the Villagers didn't even care, huh? XD

 

Found the seed again. Retested and it works fine. More pictures below. (34393)
