I use a program called Lightshot to nab my screenshots. It lets me select an area of the screen to save/upload, and if I chose save I get to pick where it gets saved to. Using this I can sort my screenshots into directories before I even start the upload process.
Oh how i'd love to be able to order Steam to Screenie as .png by default... Awesomesauce! Many thanks! Also I set my Screenie Key to F12 for both Steam AND Empyrion.
After a few days of no energy/time for building, I have begun to work on the second half of the mainhull. "As Tonga uses parts from the scrapyard, he found a nice fitting old freighterhull gattering dust and rust. The one side was battered with bullets so he cut it off and begun to join the good half to his newly, would be, ship." And the interrior got some love to...
So I continue my explorations of the design type and the copy and paste tools... its very interesting: View attachment 38722 I have also come to really enjoy building to the sounds of the rain and storms. Its very pleasant. I was wondering @Jenniphurr if I might ask your permission(and I will of course drop your name and design link) if I might borrow the back end of Chimera-X: View attachment 38723 I might not end up Oh dang! I completely forgot about poor Infinity! Hmmmmmm... you just gave me a "huh" moment. Thank you.
I think it is the atmospheric density. Masperon only shows 1.03 g on my game, but the atmospheric density is 2 kg/m^3, making it the densest atmosphere in my creative game. Now I am considering learning my way around customizing the solar system/planets to see if can get a setup where I control the variables of gravity and atmospheric density. In other words, a series of worlds with the same gravity and different atmo density and another set of worlds with the same atmo density but different gravity. Sort of taking my RCS testing to the next level but this time studying redlining instead of roll, pitch and yaw. I have never messed with the solar system or worlds so this would be all new for me. And while I am continuing with my blueprints while I wait for Alpha 8, I have heard this rumor of larger worlds. This makes me wonder if I would have to build such a custom solar system all over again. Do I just wait for Alpha 8 to build my test environment and collect data? Or do I go for it now? Wait, I think I have a tank I am supposed to finish. Darn distractions. However, I did learn that two of my blueprints can actually fly in the soup of Masperon without redlining, two of my favorites. I redlined them last night, and then this evening I remembered a feature both of these share. Silly me. I forgot one of my favorite features? Both my Blue Hawker and Green Darter have their RCS and thrusters divided into one or more groups. Apparently not just useful for saving fuel, but also for keeping out of the red. At half maneuver, the Blue Hawker stayed clear of the redline, while at 2/3 maneuver the Green Darter only got a warning at 81% during some power turns.
Well... I have no idea why that post went to hell. I blame the internet gremlins... This is what I have been tinkering on. Started with: Then moved to: I am not sure I like the later part of the progress... I want to continue to explore the, now named, Maelstrom theme... and thought the warp razors might help... but they might be a hindrance.... hmmmmm... very hard to tell. Right now I am going with "lets see what happens" and am trying to let things flow from one block, one piece, to the next. I have not used it yet, but thank you for letting me borrow the hindquarters if I need it: Very much appreciated.
I've long since lost count of how many times i'm in middle of a Build then get really stuck, then ponder on it, then decide a whole big fat section of a Build just isn't working & I have to rip it out & try something else. Happened in a couple spots of the Deathmaw Build. Now being able to make a Selection Box, enclose a big area, then Delete it has been an Arceus Send compared to the past where ya had to hold Shift then *Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click* *Move to new position to line up to next row of Blocks to demolition* *Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click* Move again...* *Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click**Right Click*... >_< For the Topic: Jenn HV Contest Entry done! Submitting!
Yeah, I am getting to loves me some copy and paste. ************** Alright, @Jenniphurr here was what I had in mind: HAHA! It was a good idea in my head, but I do not think it works. So I suspect I should just delete it. I dunno.... maybe I can get it to work somehow, I will continue to tinker.
Back to my tank. Spoiler: Pics If I was trying to be secretive, I might keep it to a pic like this. Which I think looks awesome in its own right. I have already shared earlier images of the tank, but might look better in the dark.... I haven't done any texture and painting on the interior, and the exterior is probably going to get a some more attention yet.
I got a new HATER ;-) ALL first 30 of my workshop items, really ALL got one negativ Feedback in the last 8 hours ;-) As you guy propably reading this, well done man, you proofing me right! couldn't you have make it complete? Too much hassle? Come on, a few are at 24 votes already, you would even give me a FAVOR!!! (sorry for the double post, but as I'm not not sure where I can find him, one or the other place, I wanted to congratulate him and encourage him to go on...) edit: okay, no double post. my other post got deleted. hm.
Progress on the HV for the challenge proceeds apace, having completed most of shaping & function yesterday I turned my hand to decoration. I also sorted the Device group finally and added in some extra rp related 'fluff' systems. Here is a little teaser of: Jaeger Assault Transport Exterior: Interior: Cockpit View: Designed for Supporting other Assault vessels & transporting 6 troops into battle. Not the fastest or most agile hover around, your job is to soften up the enemy defenses with Artillery fire & 4 Plasma cannons. Missiles deal with most aerial threats & you pack enough minigun personelle suppression to make any Ziritax think twice about approaching your craft. Features: Lockable Automatic Access Troop Deployment Alert Fast Troop Deployment System Personelle Proximity Sensor Selective Turret Activation Power Saving Options Emergency Pilot Seat
Don't worry about it, that whole workshop false ego fanbase is corrupted to the bone like most things in this world. It wasn't till some individual made a big scene about downvotes and statistics, that i found the button myself. I couldn't care less with all this manipulation game going on, that's for sick hearts & minds. Build for yourself & share if you like, focuss on genuine feedback. Nothing more, nothing less.

STAY TUNED FOR SCREENSHOTS LATER
