@rucky BEST SCENARIO EVER! not only can you test all your builds in pve but on the space combat tho its pve its so hard might as well call it pvp, i had to break out the fucking big guns here lol. never thought id fly this ship again heh.
<sigh> yes. Already checked that. Yes. Guys, I have 19 hovers in the workshop, if it was something obvious I would have found it. I turn it on, make sure the hover engines are on, raise up to 3 meters, and it never leaves the ground. --- Edit --- Ok, I'm going to put this into the bug reports. I attached a booster pad and now it does something else odd. It will not raise off the ground, until you hit the booster. Then it appears to double jump and comes to rest at the height I had set it to (3 meters). You cannot get it off the ground unless you use the booster pad first.
Got the second part of my underground bunker on Omicron completed. It's basically the power related stuff. Moved the other generator (place runs off one small generator, so as to not turn the place off, I just installed a second one down there first, then removed & replaced the other) 6 T1 fuel tanks, 6 Small O2 tanks, and the base's Ammo box. Normally, I'd also place the core down there, but I couldn't find where I'd placed the original one, so I left it there. Also, had the message about incoming drones, so turning the place off didn't sound too good. Top floor has the constructor, Med bay (no Medic station yet) and living quarters. All that's left is hydroponics. I need more spoiled food (when was the last time you heard THAT? ) I'll try to get some pics later.
My daily trials... how much can I squeeze out of a tiny build? Well this one has everything, warp drive, constructor, 3 fridges, a small 5x3 garden, lots of cargo, bathroom, shower, etc. Even a small hangar to house a small SV, with a repair bay, ammo crates... This little guy can move : As usual, don't pay attention to materials costs - custom config file for templates...
Ahhh. Yes, that's a bug. And it'll happen now and then. I land somewhere and it's like the hover gets glued to the ground. Normally I can wiggle it about with forward, sideways etc and eventually it breaks free. Been happening the last half year I think. I saw it reported ages ago so figured it was something that would eventually be fixed. Interesting design though. Gets me thinking.
Had a few tries on Ruckys Combat Scenario... Took the 4th video, its the longest and 'best' - in 'complete' sense.. eventhough.. it always (the ultra instance) with a bad module error, probably due to the ship i've chosen... my class 85 -=Sephrajin Carrier=- xD Enjoy the screenshot show starting at around 24minutes
Robot it has been like that for a while...if you ONLY have Hover engines touching the ground they sometimes get stuck. If you put One single landing pad down it will not happen. Since I often use really cheap HV's I see it a lot.
I've now made a short vid too, this time from the EASIEST challenge, against 4 modified Carriers and a modified Thermica Station: (Sorry for my bad english)
4 downvotes for my sephrajin carrier, yeah I get it.. its a very ugly ship --> Yay i got 4 haters Some peeps are just jealous, but i'll enjoy this sunny sunday!
Ok, fight with <10FPS is almost impossible. Is that due to the ships, the battle fire or your computer ... unfortunately I can only try this on Thursday ... and why are you taking all the CVs ;-) ... At the moment, SVs are more agile against the alien weapons in space and can avoid the fire ... I'm looking forward to Thursday.
As I understood @rucky, the ultra instance is part of the fps drops. The other 2, easy and medium are far less 'lagy'. I do have an 970gtx with 4gb vram and 8gb ram on a late i7 intel. Draw your own picture EDIT: Graphic settings are on 'high' to 'ultra' (but shadow=medium).
