Feedback is much appreciated! I will give your suggestion a go and see how it turns out. Glad you like the rest of it!
still working on my new star wars ship and i might take 4 to 5 more months to tune it up but here is a sneak peak
Pumpkin Vanilla Caramel Banana Orange Now ya done gone & made me wanna try that stunt in my Racing Truck... BAD... WarMachine! Hope he's doin well! Been ages since i've last had contact with him. I'd love to be able to paint all the Terrain Blue!
I have something for ya ;-) including your Truck Racer.... check #2 Trying something crazy myself... not always the first attempt went so well, nevertheless EVERY racer can do that, perhaps it could find some usage... (but that is still very w.i.p.!!!!!!!)
My Truck MVP! ^_^ Also, it could be interesting if diving into the Holes on the way back down also dived into a Underground Tunnel we HAD to get into in order to continue racing properly or else we'd be screwed into having to race along a longer harder way to get back onto the Track that'd be bad for our Lap Times... Edit: I've finally Uploaded my Tyrax 3D Deathmaw to my Workshop! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1351522142 Feel free to DL, then enjoy some actual 3D in our 3D Space Game! (Especially @Sephrajin who I last remember having interest in her! ^_^ ) TL: DR Instructions for flying it: 1: Spawn in Space. 2: Fly it around happily. 3: Drive it into a Planet, fly to nearish the ground then fly level with Ground. 4: Drive Deathmaw to a flatish area of ground... bonus points if no annoying Trees or Rocks in the way. 5: Drive Deathmaw up 90 degrees till just starting to point into Space, then intentionally stop flying forward on purpose. 6: As it falls, coast it into a gentle descent with controlled minor bursts of Forward till Touchdown. 7: Exit Cockpit, get annoyed if Rear Door is ajar when it's not supposed to be. (I hope to fix this in a future Revision if I ever actually REMEMBER TO.) 8: Get lost trying to find the Hangar Bay till ya actually find it. 9: Exit Ship & let Ramps auto-open & close for ya. 10: Go from there. 11: Profit! ^_^ Ya'all can figure out the rest.
Ok so far tonight I have been working on making the cargo module accessible from the CV. Trying to make this as seamless as possible. I think i have settled on a layout that I am now happy with. Really feels like its starting to come together.
I'm just about done with the freighter. Added some motion sensors so the doors and ramps play nice and open when they need to, filled out the LCD screens, touched up the interior paint and textures, moved a couple things around, added lights, etc. I just need to decide on a paint job and a name. I'm probably going to use the one on the lower right. Probably. Unless I decide to give it Imperial markings. Edit: Quick and dirty Imperial version. Would need a bunch of trim work and maybe give the interior lighting/paint another pass, change a few details. It would be a bunch more work but I'm really liking this idea.
Today I just played around with an "ugly" transporter. Spoiler: Pics Something peaceful for loading / deployment at the track. The interior is in need of a ton of work. Just enough for the prototype to fly. Oh, yeah, someone's truck did fit through the door even though it was a somewhat close fit. And with flip of a signal, we go from peaceful to active defenses. Maybe it would have done better in a space trial if the vessel was more complete. I think I lost both fuel tanks testing with the first draft, after which it was just a sitting duck. Up to that point, it was fighting back against the drones and three carriers. Considering this is just a transport vessel, I was actually pleased. That is not combat steel, except for a few exterior wall blocks. This is just a transport after all. Overall, I was very pleased with the space trial even if I failed to get any of the carriers. I had no idea if the concept of concealed turrets would even work. That this even worked at all was a thrill. Turns out that the turrets wouldn't fire through the opening from sliding doors even though it was just a forcefield in the way of the turrets. So I kept the ramps as covers, because the turrets would fire through those openings. And, just to be sure that the turrets behave like I want, they are also on the signal to be shut off when the ramps are closed.
Today I got redone my old broken off ship part. A while back I made this to test out this shapes, then the idea come to turn it to a space wreck. And I probably settled with the colors on the Archive. I'm not sure about the horn part on the building. Hard to find the right spot to hit with the brown. Still days ahead to get the interiors done. I really enjoy the look of the new force fields. I think they will be sweet for designs.
Thought I need more Power in my Racer car when we're going Open World Dakar style... So I took my Mustang out for a Ride... not bad... got the right feeling for that, but is way under-powered compared to ... everything! Okay, let's order some Thrusters and RCS units, and remove some of the unnecessary stuff in that car.... finding room for all the additional muscles... and... yes... feeling better now. MUCH BETTER!!!! Spoiler: spoiling http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1352112875
It looks fantastic. Only downside ... the container has to dock at the ship and not vise versa but this is due the game mechanics.
