Modified the Aquatic Research Station 7.0 to my first Capital Repair Port, capable to repair to template of course.
My stargate theme builds are slowly coming together. left to right Arura-Orion class, Alteran Crusier, Alteran Freighter adaptation, Alteran Warship, Alteran Scout , Asguard Jouten class system lord station, Alteran outpost
5 hours into a new map. Cheap ass HV pad down in starter biome after following Robinson Protocol to the tower. Getting ready to go resourcing to spawn said cheap-ass HV So far the anxiety has been reasonably fun and not burdensome... I expect that to change when the Spiders find their dentures again. The most hilarious part of this base is I mounted the Sentry gun on top of the large constructor... because it has more hit points than most of the rest of the base.
Honestly, I do not know why people pay attention to negative ratings in the workshop. I build for myself. If people like it, fine. If they do not like it, fine. I'm not building for them and could not care less if they give it a thumbs down.
I started doing this after looking at one of @Kahrek 's builds. It really works out well with the new thrusters.
Vanity I guess if I'm being honest. Also mild curiosity about social behavior and Workshop trends. In the end the negative ratings amount to a hill 'o beans. I know the worth of my work and I enjoyed building 'em. Hopefully other people enjoy using them. Back to building engines of destruction. And maybe a ham sandwich while I'm at it. I'm not even finished with the Battlestar and I'm already planning out the Basestar.
Holy Crap I just had an awesome thought in the shower. You dock a small SV on the outside of a capital vessel. Get in power up. And then just use space to move it off. Dont add any thrusters to it. Basically a cockpit and a seat. Maybe add 2 downward thrusters? It would just drop right? - ..........
I do like it! But I'm planning something older.....and a teeny bit smaller. I think building Nexus Station broke me. I can't even think about building anything on that scale.
Great minds think alike, I suppose. I don't mean me, but there are quite a few drop-pod SVs designed for just this kind of thing. No harm in adding a few more if it tickles your fancy though!
Got the base advanced a little more. This was always a Bivouac, never a permanent thing. Hv works decent. Added on some engines and a booster.. turret because ... well yeah.
do to my metal and physical health deteriorating very badly after 7 seizures this month ive decided to quit games for a long time, not forever though but its got to a point where i cant remember my past, or even some family members, hell dont even remember what i did an hour ago, and getting on games for 20 hours a day every day did this, AEGIS was a attempt to build a lore based brand for myself inspired by @Jenniphurr ZeroG and onward. it had a bumpy road but i hope you guys liked our builds. for now AEGIS is being closed down for the rest of the year at max but ill be back as soon as i can, to any games. ontop of all this i deal with a mountain of real life stress daily so if anything, i need a quiet place to be left alone. @Paul Emp i leave AEGIS in your hands till i get back if you feel like it not forcing it though, as for everyone else its been fun but i rather not die.
