I see you use the same picture spot as me... really nice ship though. The SV looks like it can be fitted to the front of the CV and serve as an extension. Maybe you could have the 2 dock like that. (winkwinknudgenudge)
Started a new game after the new beta released. I found the abandoned mine while exploring, I thought I knew it. But it has changed, and I think I found every trap door, the hard way.
You will be missed. It is unfortunate when game requirements go up. I love the beauty of the graphics in modern games, but sometimes I miss when the graphics were simpler and you did not need a mighty machine to play them.
Yeah, I have been using that lake for a while now. I think I have started using it in alpa 7 experimental if I remember correctly. In my opinion it is one of the most picturesque spots we have available in creative mode at this point and I'm not surprised at all that others agree! Well, attaching your SV to the front of your CV doesn't bode well in a fight unless you consider it sacrificial armor.

Something I'd like to see in scenarios eventually.. When we started a new co-op game, I planted a little surprise for my youngest- an HV and shuttlecraft buried inside the middle section of the Titan, which looks like a hangar bay. I let him find the hulls, and he got excited wondering what the extra waypoints were and loved the "discovery"... felt more like salvaging a wreck after digging them out
after talking to Kieve and few other a bit, im not going to queit AEGIS but put a hold on it till at least 8.5 but i think the damage is done on my rep so new projects at least some will be limited, also im burnt out of empyrion after 1200 hours not playing any other game, so will see how 8.0 goes and ill be back few months after patching 8.0 stable bugs
So tonight I was working on my new early style base and decided that I wanted to make a simple yet different landing pad. So I made this: Its super cheap, but even just being a landing pad I have managed to add in a wonderful feature. A motion assist landing system! What does this mean you might ask? Well as you approach the pad Red lights will come on. Once you have all the red lights on, the Green lamps will turn on. Once the Green lamps are on you are in a place that you can land safely! I have tested a few of my ZeroG ships with it, mostly in 3rd person mode, and I didn't have to hit the Alt button and circle the camera around. It was very enjoyable knowing that I could just fly and sorta line up my SV and just make minimal corrections to know if I could land. Simple concept but very functional. I am sure others have done this before, but it was still a lot of fun to build this.
Now that's clever! You've some up with a signals setup that's actually useful for minimalists. Great work!
Actually it looks like an improved version of the 3 landing pads of the abandoned mine.Meaning it could perfectly work as a landing pad on bigger bases. Nice job.
Accually they do. Fly into the motion sensor field and the lights from the pad will light up. This holds true for both the motion and light barriers as well.
CV or SV ? I think they fixed that somewhen, because yes, at least in all 6.x versions no Sensor did activate when you come with your CV near them...
You are right, I forgot. They work but only until the vessel is landed. I wanted to make a repair block turn on while vessel was landed on it only.And it did not work. If i invert the repair ON/OFF then it remains on even when there is not vessel anywhere near it. SO i left it only for lights. I have implement this on Anax CV found on my workshop.
Well there's your problem. Empyrion's bout the most delicious game out there, but no one can eat one thing nonstop forever & get away with it.
